Looking for tips on 5 man bot teams

I am very interested in starting this up, I already have 4 keys so figured might as well buy another and try it out. I have looked for a satisfactory guide but have turned up nothing so far

So I would like to know specifics really.

What dungeons? Random?

How long do you leave them run for?

Do you mask your ip at all?

Do you use a different machine for some?

I can run 5 wow windows on my single machine but I am uncertain if this is bad to do or not and if so, why?

How do you typically get your gold to gametime? I used to just spam trade but was told this wasn't really the way to go.


Plugins? What one?

Bot base?

Settings smooth sailing on said bot base/plugins, thanks for anybody who can help me out

Random works if you got one char with less then 510 ilvl to skipp ubrs couse thats not supported.

Whole team would probs get banned anyways so why bother?

Via a guy on Skype I found on a forum, a tad more expensive then trade spam but I wont get scammed.
 
You need to look around a little harder, I suggest starting with the success section, there's about 1000 threads on this very topic on these forums.
 
I used the search function and had a look around, I was hoping for specific settings like follow, looting rules, plugins if any that are used, etc.
 
Quick and dirty, set follow distance to 10-20 yards, it doesn't matter what. Use whatever class combination you want, use whatever loot rules you want, use whatever plugins you want, but the less use, the more likely it's going to run better. Use singular on all your classes, it just plain works and works well for dungeonbuddy.

Use Dungeonbuddy, go through and read each setting and pay attention to the tooltips. Set it to run random dungeons.

Level to 15 any way you really want. I personally use a program called Keyclone and level manually as there's no good RAF options currently for questing.

I started a RAF group on a low pop server at around 9:00am my time this morning. I leveled them to 15 like I always do and they're about to hit 60, less than 8 hours later. This is with no xp bonuses, no boa's, nothing but RAF.

With 6.0.2, I'm dying a lot more, maybe 2-3 times per dungeon, and wiping at least once per dungeon. Pre-6.0.2, I could do a group and never die once from 1-80. If the healer stops healing the tank, the tank will die on most bosses.

Do you use different battle.net accounts? or does it really matter since if you are caught they'll be banned no matter what account
 
I don't mess with any of that BS, and IMO, all of the V P N / Proxy / different account doesn't help in any way, shape or form. If you're going to get caught, you're going to get caught.

The secret is not to care. I don't bot to make money, I only do it for personal gain. If I get banned, so be it. I've started over multiple times and I'm sure I'll have to again in the future.
 
Been running random heroics for 3 days, 12 hours each day. Have yet to encounter ubrs, i was also under the impression it wasn't under random heroic list, and has to be manually selected if you want to do it.
 
Hi I can give my 2 cents on setups

Composition: I found Pally tank + 3 BM hunters + disc priest is the most resilient to the new patch, as in case the pally dies you still have 3 pets tanking while the dps clear and then disc res etc.
Remember to get all 3 diff buffs from hunter pets (boar, wolf, cat etc )

1 to 15: I been trying different methods but i found multiboxing to 15 is by far the better/faster. Just get keyclone or pwnboxer and setup some /assist /follow macros and u r done then start the farm fest at lvl15. You may wanna quest after raf is done tho as i felt the mop dungeon were really slow.

As hardware I just go all 5 same machine same ip but playing 6-8 hr sessions with some breaks.

Cant help with gold per hour as i am just leveling my army for wod. Cheers!

Thanks a lot, i've found so far that I enjoy fury warriors with a dk tank and shaman healer, the warriors go bladestorm crazy and shockwaves, the healer just spams lightning bolt most of the time for some more dps since the mobs are cc'ed like crazy. I am enjoying this very much so far and hope that I can keep them long enough to pay for themselves haha
 
For leveling atm and gonna run a 5 man wod team, the plan is to have a 5 man team in 6 high pop servers so i can rotate them. Not gonna farm like crazy, more like safe boting with profs and stuff, hopefully garrison will be automated too who knows. cheers
 
Sweet! Yeah i been hearing about fury dps lately... well got heirlooms for the setup now and the aspect of the pack with glyph gives +38 speed buff, even with the slow on tank he always stops for a second after each pull so its almost no speed lost at all =)
 
That's really cool, I might have to try that myself! I am just in the process of trying to find people to trade gold for time now, or other keys lol
 
How is the GPM running a 5man dungeon group? (both heroic and non heroic)
 
It's nothing spectacular, Lars. 5 manning dungeons isn't the most effective way to farm gold, but it exposes you very little to the general public, so a lot of people like doing it.

250-350 gph per character, so 1250-1400 gph. That's running MoP heroics and selling everything below boe epics. 530 ilvl group.
