Client initialization timeout!

even after a clean install i keep getting this error.

i start ab
select the account.
press the green triangle
account changes from disabled into notlogged.
after 1-2 minutes
menu says Client initialization timeout!

Im getting this error on both my main setup and vmware. Both running windows 8.1

Yes, always as administrator, always the same crash. Both were working nice before this update. Tried a fresh archebuddy install and the same error appears.
 
confirmed. looks like OS depending issue.

my two 8.1 laptops are crashing even on run as admin.

but on windows 7 which is my main tower is working just fine run as administrator.
 
Give me few hours to test in on win8.1.

You get 2 min to timeout? Mine times out at 20 seconds every time no matter what. That being said my client takes 22 secounds to load so its impossible for me to use this bot and out tells my my firewall is blocking it witch is a joke cause i dont have an av or a firewall and he refuses to do anything further to help me
 
Ok, if you have win8.1 - wait 1-2hours, i will fix it and test
 
I have the same indeed (ArcheAge has stopped working). Atleast on my laptop. Will try on my pc later. Both 8.1.
 
Im on Win 8 (not 8.1) and i have the same issue, archebuddy launches and is ready, but archeage doesnt launch and i get "client initialization timeout"

oh no no this is just your av or firewall consider yourself ignored by out from this point on he wont deal with the timeout error he says there is no issue there


You see my client takes 22 seconds to start Archebuddy how ever times out in only 20 seconds see an issue here?
