How are YOU making gold!!!!!!

Title pretty much says it all basically all herbs have got to shit going for around 7-10g per stack which is totally not worth selling here are some of my prices for my server.
All herbs 7-10g/stack
Titanium ore 70-95g/stack
All eternal's except life are around 40-60/stack life is about 175-250g/stack
Gems have always been crap sadly greens 20-40g/stack, blues 50-60/stack and epics are selling for an all-time low of 30-60g.
I think the best thing to do right now is level up all your professions before cata so you can maximize your profit. With ALL professions your guaranteed to triple your gold well in most case's anyway. I think the only thing worth farming right now is Saronite ore. Even though you dont sell it on the ah or prospect it I have found that some profiles in the basin can give you over 1k+nodes in 10 hours and with me doing it (lvl 80 paladin 310% flying and crusader) it nets me about 2k every 10 hours from the vendor, which isnt that bad considering everything else will take you time to list find buyers etc. Also a best practice is to have the farmer send it to a miner on a different account so that you wont have to stop farming at all. With all that sad it cata is coming fast I think its best to sell what you have now before the prices get even lower. So with all that sad lets see what everyone else is doing to make gold in these hard times !!!

yeah, I transfer my saronite and titanium ore/gems to a JC to prospect and cut. and herbs to alchemist because they sell low per stack, but raiding pots sell for a bit and always go for w.e amount you put them up (weekends a lot of ppl raid)


p.s. save up some mats for Cata release prices will probably sky rocket

i have a private buyer that wants ALL outlands herbs atm.. not sure what he's doing, but w/e.. i'll supply him as much as he wants lol And, while i'm herbing, I'm mining too.. i think i'll prolly use the fel iron to make outland greens to d/e and i'll sell the dust and essences.. i have 2 full guild tabs of fel iron ore right now. Plus khorium sells for 50g per ore on my server right now.. so thats a nice bonus too.

I just farm cobalt, saronite, and titanium and smelt and vendor them. It provides more than enough gold.

Frost lotus are 80g per 5 on one of my servers, other northrend herbs have gone up slightly, outlands herbs were way up this morning when I checked.
I have been cleaning out my gbanks and everything is selling within 24 hours so people are buying things.

Right now everything is CRAP. no one wants to buy stuff when they know it will be useless in 1 week. Just farm saronite ore and smelt it and sell to vendor for now is your best bet. If you have gold i would suggest selling it now because when cata comes out it will probably drop to an even lower price. I saved up gold for the WOTLK release and that was just a mistake...

Yea its rediculous making gold is soo much effort and my guild bank is stacking up because i dont want to flood the market, bit bored of wow atm with no HB come cata ill be able to actually work towards something atm everything seems pointless

Quick question are low or high population realms better for making/selling gold?
Also what are the best PVP/PVE realms in EU for PVE and PVP (not gold selling) im considering a transfere?

not sure what you mean by "best" but any highest tier red cut always sells.

there is always something that sells . i can make over 10k /day botting 8-10 hours, no my server isn't special frost lotus sells for 1g so i vendor it, herbs 10g icethorn/lichbloom others under 6g.
Scan auction house and find out what you should farm, what people are buying. Control the niche = Profit.

There are many guides on this, try youtube, there are a bunch of them.

Also it's best to check your auctionhouse while using certain addons (there is another thread called essential addons here on the boards)

Last time I checked frost lotus on my server were selling for around 98s. 20 stacks for less than 20g. Epic gems are around 25g each any gem, titanium powder 20g each, titanium ore 3g each, lichbloom 12g/stack all others around 7g/stack. I have been just doing saronite and vendoring for gold. I make around 4k/day with only 1 toon and a specific profile. All other profiles are a waste of my time really for saronite.

A certain website that starts with a P values gold at 1.7/k so theoretically if you ran 120 bots making 4k/day and were able to sell all of it each month here is what the math looks like for all those teenagers that dream of making a living being lazy in their parents basement.


4(k/day) X 30 (days/Month) = 120k per month

120k x 120 bots = 14,400,000 gold per month

14400000 / 1000 = 14400

14400 X $1.7 = $24,480 <--- gross before cost of accounts and such

120 x 14.99 = $1798.90 is monthly cost of accounts

24480 - 1798.90 = 22681.1

So $22,681.10 is what you take home. Keep in mine I have no clue how much electricity it would cost to run 120 accounts and you would need a relogger to alternate characters back and forth, most likely the best thing would be 120 different servers with 1 ally and 1 horde on each and rotate every 12 hrs from ally to horde and back.
