I'm getting the launch failed message after trying to run (green triangle button) the client, and pasting in my session key. On the buddy auth portal it says my key is inactive/unused, however I just bought it.
The account email is not that same as the one I bought the key from, is that the issue?

Nope your trion and your archebuddy do not need to have same email
Its actually recomended that they dont
 
Your key should be in the updated when you run it. then make sure to add your actuall trion account info on the account manager

I did, I even changed the trion username for logging in, however, I have never before logged into the account with glyph, is that the issue?
 
nope ive never logged in to glyph other than to update my client and that is done with a different account anyways
 
worked now, apparently my installation got corrupted due to me screwing with the files, problem resolved

sorry for stupidity
