How to run/install Archebuddy [with pictures]

I press updater.exe and it simply just doesn't open. It's not popping up?

EDIT: It just says Updater has stopped working.
Does anyone know what to do to fix this? Do you need a fast internet connection for it to open?

What version of windows are you using?

Have you downloaded and installed this program yet? If not please do so now and try it again.

Yep it loads and tells me everything is good...VC installed and all good and .Net i installed and all good, menu still does nothing

I can't really tell why it would be doing that, but if you send me the two files as requested on the thread I'm linking below I would be more than happy to look over them to see if I can tell what might be causing the program to malfunction in such a way.

I'm getting the same problem everything installs fine the buddywizard has two green check marks but whenever I try to open account manager or plugin editor it doesn't do anything.

I'm running windows 8.1 x64

When I get a chance I will send those two reports over.

Try this right quick:

Right click Updater.exe and go to properties
Go to the compatibility tab and run it in compatibility for Windows 7
 
I get to the main archebuddy window but when i click menu and then account manager or anything else nothing happens

edit: tried running it in compatibility mode and as admin

I too have the issue "unknown glyph version" but I play through glyph regularly. Any quick fix found?
 
Hey guys, I just downloaded the bot today. and i was having the same problem; "Downloaded the program, installed and updated but after i try to go to account mangager no windows pop up" What helped me after installing the BuddyWizard is simply restarting my PC. That's all I did.

Go to Menu, Settings, and under General.

At the bottom it should say: "Path to game client folder: (America):" Make sure that the right folder is in there.
 
Hi there

I have followed the advice above (run as admin, run in compatability mode for Win7, restart the pc etc) but nothing is happening when I try to choose any of the menu options in the buddy - no other window opens at all, either.

I've attached the dxdiag and msinfo files.

I can see from the files that you are using Avast.
The real time script shield is most likely messing with it and causing it to freeze.
You need to add Archebuddy to the list of exceptions in Avast.

NET 4.5.1 e VC++ Instaled.

Windows 7.
