Hmm. Can you do a longer DPS sequence than 35 seconds? From what I can see in that log, it's doing what it's supposed to do. In the 20 second window from the CR popped Dark Soul you had 7 Chaos Bolt casts which in itself is ok based on the ember generation from the other targets. Besides that you have the CR settings set to cast Chaos Bolt at 3.2 embers, which it looks like it's doing properly.

I'll try and do some testing in-game myself as Destru just to see what's going on.

yeah i can, by wrong time i mean the start of the routine, all trinkets popped, dark soul on me aswell and because of the aura settings it should be casting everytime it gets a free ember, that was not the case. it still waited til 3.2
also no way i made 7 embers in 36 seconds
 
Hey Millz --
Seems destruction is back on top after the demonology nerf. I was using Demonic in UBRS and there was way too much pausing. I can't tell what it was from. I moved away from things, I changed talents, I even tried to nudge it along by casting spells. I even changed some options in the GUI such as using the Sparkuggz opener. It seemed really sporadic as to when it wanted to cast and pause. There was really no rhyme or reason behind it. It would cast RoF and Conflagrate, it would use Fire and Brimstone, and then would sometimes start working really quickly, then get really sluggish. I changed between Enyo and LazyRaider. I changed TPS from 20 up to 30. I even closed and opened HB up. Not sure what's causing it.

I also wanted to mention that I kept an eye on the HB window and it showed spells being cast/spammed, but in the game nothing was being cast. I have no idea what was going on or why.

You're all absolutely right. Been looking at my Warlock casting (with AOE disabled) on a Dummy and it's not reacting to auras at all. It's only casting Chaos Bolt until it's under the Burning Ember limit. I'm guessing it's a relatively quick fix for Millz once he's back.

Personally, I've not encountered any stuttering/pausing, but I did notice the excessive spamming once I enabled AoE, for Dark Soul/Berserking for example you'll notice the entry gets written with as many attackable units are in range of you. If you have 3 units in range, it'll spam the window 3 times.

I've done my tests in Silvermoon and not Shrine of Lag.

I also tested Demonology for good measure and it seems to be doing OK? In my tests starting with 200 fury it's doing everything properly. Popping into Meta and applying Doom right after Cor/1st Hog, casting ToC 2 times before coming out and double stacking HoG. I don't see any excessive Meta changing besides those lucky times where you just get out of Meta and everything procs and it tries to be in Meta as much as possible.

I'm easily doing 17-18k DPS single-target after the nerfs with little movement. (Around 25-26k-ish AoE)

Actually, I believe the issue is with Honorbuddy. Other routines are having issues when it comes to auras. I've been talking with some routine developers and they say that Honorbuddy is having some problems detecting auras, and apparently it's not fixed in the next upcoming beta/test/release version either. So, we're just going to have to wait it out I suppose.

Just keep in mind I don't know if this is 100% accurate, but since it was stated by a developer/coder, then I'm pretty sure it's an HB issue and not a routine issue.
 
Yeah, could be zeldrak. Demonology seems completely fine though. It's reacting properly to GoSyn, KTT and Bindings at least.

The distance thing I noticed as well when running UBRS. I wasn't using Shadowfury either. I think it's something either internal with HB, or maybe Millz needs to do something with the routine. We'll have to wait and see. He's very, very busy now and probably won't be able to do anything for a little while.
 
How is everyone doing so high dps 18k+ Im 582 and both demo and destro locked at 10k on target dummy for 5 mins

Target dummies are the level 100 variants now. Despite the fact that a dummy has NEVER produced an accurate result, it is worse now.

Im using the 90 dummy but recently jumped into dungeon and seemed to be doing ok on bosses so I dunno im sure its not as tweaked as before but still better than ill do by hand lol
 
Also millz the GUI still has symbiosis option, not a priority but no longer in game =P

The version we are using is one the Millz pushed out really quickly to allow us to use something. He is currently not at home and unable to do most of the fixes/tweaks. IN the next few days we should be seeing updates and fixes coming.
 
@Pitt Buell: I don't fully understand the question? This is a combat routine and it won't start "questing" for you unless you use the questing botbase and set up the CR appropriately.

@hbkx1: The numbers aren't gathered from training dummies. Real-world testing, either through grinding/farming, dungeons or raids. SoO Heroic/Mythic, UBRS/Headless Horseman event and Frog farming on Timeless Isle is where I'm doing most of my testing usually.

Millz will be home soon and I'm sure that he'll be working hard to fix all bugs and issues that have been coming up in the past few days. Just be patient guys!
 
new instal of honorbuddy. copie demonic in the new path. when honorbuddy starts it will crash.
what shoud i do?
i cant install demonic via store because the hb key and the buddy auth isnt the same

The only updated version that will work with patch 6.0.2 and later is the one from the store. The old one on SVN only works with MoP before the 6.0.2 patch. Also, with the new HB version .749 the only one that will work is the one from the store. So, you're going to have to send an email to the buddy store support team to see if you can get that key issue resolved. Otherwise, you won't be able to use Demonic until Millz fixes his free on so that you can obtain it on your new key from the store.
