With 12 times faster class quests so you will level up in no time doing them as I found out yesterday. covers all class quests and then on Makeb story missions sat looking at this quest 445,950 exp at lvl 52 so 55 wont take long now :-)


That is correct, it is only Class Story Missions. You will not get that experience bonus for any other types of missions while you are leveling. The only "sort of" exception to this is when you enter Makeb. Chapter 4's main storyline across the planet will count as a Class mission for the sake of this bonus.

TLDR - Class Story Missions until Makeb and then the main Chapter 4 storyline on Makeb.

The Class Experience Boost is immediately effective for all players with an active subscription status and who have also pre-ordered the Shadow of Revan Digital Expansion during the pre-order period ending December 1, 2014, at 11:59PM PST / December 2, 2014, at 7:59AM GMT. Players receive a boost to the amount of XP gained from Class missions, allowing them to advance to Level 55 at an expedited rate while enjoying their Class story missions (the exact multiplier is 12.32). Legacy Class XP perks and Cartel Market Class XP consumables do not stack on top of this boost. Guild XP bonuses and General XP consumables from the Cartel Market do stack on top of this boost. The Class Experience Boost is only effective while you are in active subscription status during the pre-order period.

Chance to make a lot of credits/profit in the first few days/weeks of the release? What you guys think? :)

Will the expansion really be $20 or is that just the preorder price? :)
Heads up, some of the ebay sellers bumped the 60 days swtor card price to $48.
 
Allready preordered and going to check out tonight how it levels with this 12x bonus.
 
And dont forget, they already buffed exploration on makeb, do in combination with this 12x on chapter 4, you should make lvl 55 fast.
Anyways im gonna test a fresh char and see how it runs.
If im correct on calculation, it should be class quests only on to do planets within its level brackets (Hoping so on this).
Will test this.
 
It's pretty insane. At level 50, I was getting half a level per turn-in. My first quest in Makeb at level 52 gives 430,000 xp on turn-in.

leveling is great with this 12 x exp on class missions. going really fast now. did 50-55 on makeb in around 60 minutes HUGE exp there.

Can this bot be set up to run class missions only.? and does it run as well as HB does.?

That looks to be why they set it up this way. You can start a character and just do the class missions and pretty much level up throughout the entire game just from class missions. No side/secondary missions at all.
 
Yeah tested yesterday, had a lvl 53 and 50. from 53 to 55 was really 2 quests maybe 20 - 25 mins orso on Makeb.
Then i went with a lvl 50 which was still on Voss, the xp gain then over 50 aint that big, but hey we want to complete story aswell.

Anyways you wont see any notification on the XP bar, that you have increased XP or something. if you complete the quest you get XPx12 on class quest or act 4 Makeb quest line.
So tonight my 50 to 55 and then the rest its being bad and going dark on imp side for 4 new toons :)
 
Tested the x12 XP with a new sith-marodeur. Its nice but when you really just do class quests you will get problems with your equip. You have to buy new stuff all the time.

Also its not 100% within level range. Now with level 27 im on Alderan and im 3 level behind (and have no chance to kill even strongs due to the lack of good equip).
 
Jeah im reading up and i think You need to do if possible tatooine bonus series.
You are missing 2 lvls for alderaan.
 
Ok so i did some math, i think you are missing buffs.
To level on class only you need at LEAST the mayor experience cartel boost (25% minor also works).
Also you will have to do the bonusses to compensate for some losses here and there.
Also note multiplier aint exactly 12 but 12,32!

Breakdown for republic (without bonus quests and exploration):
  • lvl 10-16 - Coruscant + Ord Mantel: 14535 XP * 1.25 * 12.32 = 223.839
    lvl 10-16 requires 234.055 XP so with bonus +9105 and exploration about the same ull just manage (9105 * 2 * 1.25 = 22.762)
  • lvl 16-20 - Taris: 13140 XP * 1.25 * 12.32 = 202.356
    lvl 16-20 requires 285.770
  • lvl 20-24 - Nar Shaddaa + defender: 25.835 * 1.25 * 12.32 = 397.859
    lvl 20-24 requires 414.750

Also the Guild multiplier of 10% also works, so if you count this in, youre numbers are in the + and not -.

lvl 10-16: 246.223 xp gained - 234.055 xp required
lvl 16-20: 222.592 xp gained - 285.770 xp required
lvl 20-24: 437.645 xp gained - 414.750 xp required +
906.460 xp gained - 934.575 xp required (again without bonus quest completion and exploration)

So get guild with +10%, get experience boost 25% and go go go.

I'm sure your math is fine, but I'm level 22.5 and I'm only halfway done with Balmoora on Imperial side. You're forgetting kills, bonus objectives, rested xp, and exploration experience. This character was created with the bonus xp in mind, and I've done nothing but class missions.

EDIT: no guild, no xp consumable, no legacy xp perk.

It was only a look into of class quests should het You to 50 without gaps in leveling.
So it is possible, only problem You have is gear until lvl 50.
On maken your dp's and hp are scaled of You use the buffy thing.

Yeah, your best bet is to hit Makeb at 47, use the GSI Satellite thing to bolster your stats, and hit 55 that way. Gear is mainly a problem for mid-levels, I have all crafting schools maxed with tons of materials. I just craft myself a new set of mods every 10 levels and I'm okay so far. More than 10 and you start to die a lot.
 
With Guild + 25% + Class Quest perk Bonus + 12X, I finished the class line for sage at 53. Then I did 2 quests and hit 55. I still have 10 more classes to have the full 16. I'm doing smuggler now. I am noticing that BW does not recognize the smuggler tree :\

It isn't really sustainable for me to level the remaining by hand, even with the 12x xp.

Funny thing: I noticed on the swtor forums, some guy said, "this is a slap in the face to everyone that already has 16 lvl 55s." I had a really hard time not laughing.

Yeah smuggler has a skill tree bug.
Joe made a workaround. If he finds an ability for that specific tree,
It manually switches to the correct rotation

That seems like a logical solution.

I'm kinda back. I may throw some things together for the buddystore when the expansion hits and prob minimal work on pureswtor.
