How Botters are dected and banned

The reason is very simple:
THe main Problem this bot has is: he doesnt communicate. A bot that doesnt communicate for 2-3h in chat is easy detectable. And one that doesnt say a single word for 8h+ could be flagged by a internal system.

I used the bot non stop while i wrote in chat- still not banned. Ive farmed over 2k coinpurses-was never suspected for botting, even when i wrote non stop that im using Archebuddy while writeing in chat, but people do not belive you hahah.
 
where did you farm the purses? i was farming lvl 41 oxed with a lvl 50 char.. i got reported a lot.

If you grind non stop with the bot in the same place without activating chat- yes. Because no human does that- non stop grind for hours without taking a brake. If ppl see you writing in faction chat
then it will give them the signal your playing- not the bot.

If there was a feature for the bot to communicate, or trigger to certain words so he gives a message and starts a small conversation- then that might help to let the bot run for hours without you actually watching it.
Also these grinder bots are garbage- they need at least 3-5 spots to circle around each time they die- so ppl dont suspect you for botting all time.



Also i think that Trion has tested the bot and implemented autobann if a certain questchain is beeing follow- wich is what the bot is doing- hes skipping some quests and do all others.
That is also easy trackable- if a certain questchain is beeing follow in some hours, then autobann.

Yes, I am human and I played for hours without chatting with anyone. Why would I be banned because of it?
I also did like 3-4 Trade Runs in a row without a single word spoken. Each run takes nearly 40-50 minutes each. Yet, I'm still playing normally.

If you get reported, run to the nearest Judge and prove you're innocent. Worked for me so far. If you get banned, send a Ticket and ask why you got banned. They'll most likely unban you.

Incorrect. I've never said a word in game nor have I typed in the game. I am level 50 and have put many hours in, I play with my friends and we use Skype to voice chat.

The reason the bot is detected is most likely people running and using the same GPS points for movement. What needs to be done is randomized walking and not straight A-B points.
Auto fighters are most likely the safest thing to use in short bursts aslong as the mobs have a drop table worth autoing on and not just coin purses.
 
Same here, I am not in a guild, I ignore most morons in faction/nation/trade etc. I don't think I have typed a character in chat for 15+ hours. No ban for me either.

Thats completly wrong, sry makii.

In the first sentence you find your answer to don't get banned and in the second sentence you find your way to get banned.

I smart botter don't grind non stop on the same location!

To the second part... Every interaction with other players (in any way) is a mistake to bot safe! That means, if you are writing in the chat, if you are in a guild (public guild with many player you don't know), if you react on players in the /say chat every time etc.. Ok mistake sounds hard, its more a weak point, so don't have many weak points! With player interaction you got a chain of weak points for free... quicker then you think.
 
usually I don't bother wasting my time, but this is getting ridiculous, first of all, if you look at peoples reporting they have been banned, most were using a sock5 proxy, which run by default on port 1080, if irc ring you a bell you already aware about it, sock5 is an old method, most of the gold spammer were using vpn/sock5 so they could log back and spam again, if you connect with no proxy and run cmd.exe and type netstat -na you will find out about trion looking if your port 1080 is open, they did this to counter those gold spammer and peoples botting with a sock5 got also hit, this is no rocket science. For everyone else they got reported. If you pay for a sock5 and cannot put a specific port yourself, you deserve it...
 
Most people don't speak in /say chat at all
my entire guild never uses /say anywhere, we talk in TS3 or guild chat ..

but i guess i understand what he's trying to say, he means that if you speak in /say chat people will know that is a player playing and not a bot ..

a human does not farm for 10h in the same place on the same mobs without taking a brake or writing a word.
 
who the hell cares what human does, this is a bot ifIi wanted it to act like a human I would play the game myself, lets start the same shit from wow ... "you need to bot smart" go to dungeons, do some quests, do some pvp, go fishing, I mean , why not play the game manually than, why bother with bot at all lol.
 
"Botting smart" should basically mean not leaving your Bot unwatched for 10+ hours. Watching your Bot as it runs as some suggest is totally stupid and psycho. Why Bot if you're watching the Bot the entire time? Don't risk and play manually instead.

I say, Bot how you want, just check it every now and then, talk to the Judge if required and you should be safe.
 
Exactly I dont plan to watch the bot, I just want it to do simple stuff like grind and gather and crap with no stucking , after all the bot is here for me to be able to do other stuff, not monitor the game.
If I wanted to monitor the game i would play it by hand
