The problem people have is that the code is so simple that it should be shared and not sold. It's just that this particular code is extremely profitable and was not being shared because of greed and competition. Also since the game is still new, not enough time has passed for the right individuals that will code the exact same thing to release it for free.

I can't even begin to tell you how wrong you are. People don't share things such as this because there are to many idiots in the world that absolutely do not care what results from their stupidity. Its not going to matter now that its getting so much attention from the devs....people going around taking every house that expires without even trying to be discreet....Lets take 60 houses in 1 day because were cool!
 
yep. those guys are so incredibly stupid. they didn't even bother to use different accounts/names. they let people notice the same name getting the house every time.

Correct. That is another reason why it's not shared, but there isn't anything I said that is wrong or untrue.

Like mentioned there are people that are operating in the game to make money as the only reason and steal the properties and then sell them, and cash out to real world currency. Obviously since the game is currently wide open everything is not playing out as intended.

pretty much everything you said in that post was wrong. you said it should be shared because it's simple, the fact that it may be simple is irrelevant.

then when you say "not enough time has passed for the right individuals that will code the exact same thing to release it for free". you should just replace the words "right individuals" with "idiots" and it's a true sentence

also your use of the word greed implies a socialist mindset. socialism is force and is against freedom.

Simple knowledge/information should be shared.

You state that right individuals are idiots because there is a negative effect to either you, others that do the same thing, or the game. Greed relates directly to the act of self gain especially here with using tools to modify the games for that effect. Socialism is for the people by the people, which is completely different than what you described it as.

What I originally stated is that people are upset that simple code is not shared or free to use, and is instead being sold. I said it's not being shared because of it's private profitability, which includes competition from others that are doing the same thing. The last thing I said is there are non selfish egocentric greed oriented people that have and will continue to provide code/work/information/knowledge for free, and ask that if you would like you can donate your own perceived fair value of that work.

So... should i now start selling my own code, that does the same to the public? The placement code is pretty simple. But the usual user won't be able to write the scanning part. Btw... advertising such plugins in a public thread is a act of idiocy. I do understand that you want to make as much money, as possible. But selling it freely to the everyone who wants it will lead to threads on trion forums and will draw too much attention to archebuddy. Ppl pm-ed you. Sell it to them. Why to post it here? Facepalm... How much time will it take to some one to start a thread on official forums about ppl that always take house spots, or can see others in stealth mode? The story repeats itself. There was already a witch hunt on RU servers. There 99% of players used jungler. The same will happen on EU because of greedy people like you -_-

socialism is against freedom. to supposedly "do good" with other people's money you first have to take it away from them. which means at its heart socialism is violence and the initiation of force.


the lessons of history show us that it never worked and it never will work.


i won't bother arguing with your further, probably just a young kid who never experienced much of the real world yet.

Assuming makes an ass out of you and me. Real socialism is everyone in control of their own money and bartering between each other for different goods/services with everyone benefiting and no one losing anything. Your original thought was that somehow greed related to socialism and I said that greed by definition was self centered which isn't social. I was never talking about the history of political socialism which like you said has played out differently than its definition. I'm not a child nor kid in age, mind, or education. Also if you say I'm not going to bother arguing further and still post something to try to have the last word instead of not saying anything at all then your still continuing the debate/argument/dialogue.

Not to butt in but when has socialism ever worked in human history? Korea, China, Cuba, USSR... All failed to live up to Karl's definition of socialism. While there are people, greed will breathe.

I'm not defending socialism. Not saying it has ever worked either. Just stating that greed is based on self interest and is opposite of the definition of "sharing."
 
Sadly, only in a perfect world. People don't want to share their own original creativity and hard work for free. Can't blame them.
 
I thought about releasing my spammer. Then I figured I would keep it private and share only among the few :)
