nervous about buying, few questions ^^

Hellos! I love the buddy bots! used it for two games now...and now just bought diablo 3. So I see alot of posts about it not working properly?

curious if this bot works for wizards ? or witch doctors? can it be ran afkable for 4ish hours at a time?
and the big one >.< is it super complicated to set up?

mainly just want something that will farm xp for me~ and if possible >< do bounties and store legendary items for me.

I don't know about the wizard meleeattack-bug if it fixed but wizard should be solid and if you play Witch doctor as a Pet doctor i think it would work if you play jade i think its bugged.

The bot isn't that hard to setup just look around and setup your stuff what ever you want or if your stuck write it in here.

I use mine on my WD every day. I use 1 profile for rifting, another for bounties, and another for leveling new toons through quests (each profile is a separate act). To me, it was fairly simple to set up. There's plenty of help here, lots of useful posts, just take the time to read them. A lot of the questions you may have (How do I make it do X,Y,Z) will be answered in different threads. I tried a trial access, and I was sold and now have a lifetime membership. Well worth it.

It's not "super complicated" at all. Most of it comes already set up for what you're looking for, basic xp, bounties, and storing legendaries (you can tell it to keep legendaries unidentified if you wish, I do, so I don't get unanswered "grats" from my clanmates when I'm not at my desk to say thanks).

Posts about it not working properly are usually operator error. There are frequent updates to Demonbuddy and the associated plugins, which is a good thing. You want a program that is always updated and fresh. You said you've used it for 2 games, so you know Blizz and others are always "behind the scenes" updating their games. The bots and plugins have to be updated with them. Just be patient when a patch/hotfix comes through on Diablo, because Demonbuddy (and associated plugins) take a little bit of time to be updated (never had to wait longer than 24 hours) to go with it.

Most profiles are 90%+ afk'able. You might have trouble with some of the questing ones (Act 1 is especially tough at the moment in certain spots), but if you're only concerned with bounties & rifts, then you won't have much of a problem at all.

It's well worth the $31.37 (USD conversion rate at my time of purchase) if you plan to stay with D3 for awhile.

Yes you can and if you play a other game beside d3 just put it to in window mode and you can still let the bot run.

The bot works well, most of the time, if you run well-made profiles.
There's a few combat routine related issues, involving all end-game builds. Demon Hunters facetanking with Sentries, Wizards autoattacking with Firebirds, Witch Doctors never casting Soul Harvest with Jade Harvester, Crusaders not using abilities, that kind of thing. But if you use an average noob build that just involves throwing around a few not-modified-by-items abilities, you're good to go. Particularly pet Witch Doctors work well, since the bot's only job is to run around and let the AI handle the rest.
I'm trying to find a way to make Jade Harvester work, as I'm writing this, but it basically comes down to Trinity having 9999999999999999999999999999999999 conditions it needs to meet before throwing Soul Harvest, while all it needs is 1: is Haunt running? Good, then run into melee and use soul harvest..................

bought the bot not sure whats going on... am using that rift farm bot.. its working farming normal mode for the rift shards...but my wizard rarely uses the spells I need her to.. its odd to watch

Yup yup, welcome to DB. In a game with less abilities then WoW it sure goes derp derp. You pretty much have to keep messing with settings and reinstalling DB until everything works properly, then every time DB or Diablo updates go through it all again. It gets quite frustrating and annoying, but once you get it working how ya want it, it sure does work and saves a lot of hand work.

Just use simple spells rather than complex one.. I don't know if it makes sense. The more you use it, the better you will understand the bot and why it acts a certain way. To people that it says it's not working properly is simply because they either have the wrong settings or trying to run builds with-out core pieces of gear.One example is the mantra spam from Monk class, it simply does not work with the bot if you do not have the set equipped to the monk.. Anyway, trying a few builds and see what works the best is the key for demon buddy. The bot is great, i saved my thousands of hours so far..

Another example is having full best in slot gear for Jade Harvest and the bot simply not using Soul Harvest, in spite of 70 lines of scripting telling it how to and when to.

There alot of profiles are around just take a look in the forum and your mind will get blown.
