Hi, I have a few questions.

  • What are profiles? From what I gather they are used for questing and leveling up gathering... am I right?
  • What are combat routines?
  • What are botbases?
  • What are plugins?
  • What is the best way to get to 60 (currently using Kick's profiles, but very slow)
  • After I get 60 and boost to 90, I'll need some better gear, would you say grinding BGs is a good way for this? If so, any recommended bots/profiles/combat roles/plugins to grind BGs effectively and safely?

2combat routines are what tells the specific class to do for rotations of spells and such.
3.botbases have there own specific jobs, ex questing bot does questing, BGbuddy does bg's and so on. many of which are already implemented into honor buddy, but some like autoangler for fishing is not and will need to be added by you
4.plugins can be used for a many things for example insted of have a bunch of profiles in a folder taken up space a plugin would have all them sorted out in a GUI type screen like brodiemans. also plugins can allow the bot to drink , eat and so on, or be used to kill a rare mob when ever ones is near. plugins can do so much!.
5. well it depends on who say what. some say questing is the best way and safest, while some say its not and tell you to just run dungs with dungeonbuddy the whole time. its rly up to you and your decision in the end which route to take.
6.grinding bg is a rly bad idea BGBUDDY is very detectable and if you pay attention to players in a bg you will see why. when a BG first starts all the bots wait for about 10secs before leaving the area easy to spot out, also when they do decide to move they all follow the same path. id suggest using dungeon buddy or using lazyraider/tyrells. but with dungeon buddy the bot will sometimes get stuck ina wall and stand there so you will need to keep an eye on it... this happens to me more as a dpser then healing though.

Thank you so much, now at least I understand what all of those things mean. I'm giving you some rep man really thanks for taking your time.

I guess I will do some dungeons then, because questing is really slow it will take me like 10 days to get to 60 at this rate (took like 2 hours to level up 24-25).
 
i guess the good thing to questing is the items and the achivments XD

now lets get down to the quickest way to level

how many keys do you have? you will want 3 for anything more than casual botting. the cost is negligible compared to the increase in botted goods. if you own one key, a quick email to customer service and they will sell you the 3 lifetime keys for the difference in price. you will pretty much get 2 more keys for the price of one.

many reasons for this, mainly so you can farm on an alt account while raiding/goofing off on your main. you should never bot on any account you arent willing to loan to your ex girlfriend. blizz can and will take that shiz without a tear shed. but we do anyways, there is no getting around that.

the quickest way to level currently is to use RAF. easy to set this up with dungeonbuddy and 2 sessions. personal record this month is 1-90 in 2d 8h played. and you get 2.5 players per pair leveled. how you say? you have to count grant a level. you get 44-45 grant a levels for every 90 you level on your boosted account.

now to some math you may have missed. i bought what blizz calls 'WOD from scratch' for $63usd straight from the blizz store. You get one month free for that account. when you pay your second month on your boost account, you get one month free on your main account. so remember that when doing your accounting.

But also can I run BG's manually with a combat routine? Will that help be do max dps and win easily?

yes i run bgs on my own and let lazyraider with a custom routine to the rotations so all i do is move him lol

I can't afford another wow account PLUS more HB sessions. For now I just want to casual bot. Later once I'm more experienced with HB, I will start botting for money, then I will buy more accounts and sessions, but right now, consider me a casual/personal botter.

Thank you for the advice btw, I'll keep this is mind when I get more serious.
 
first rule of botting. never bot on any account you dont want to lose.

i realize you just want to be a casual botter. $15 more a month is a small price to pay to keep your main account a little safer. and if money becomes a problem, you can always not pay for the second account and let it go dormant for a while.

its just from personal experience, i lost all my main accounts because i thought i could farm a couple hours a week and wouldnt get caught.
 
If I lose this act, I can afford to buy 1 more. Max. Plus first offence most likely reduced to 72h suspension, so after that I'll stop botting till I can afford more.
What I can't afford is to but WOD preorder again AND 2 more sessions AND 15 more per month. I can't afford all of that right now, but maybe in the future.
 
idk i been botting for 2 yrs now. not like an excessive amount. only like 4 hrs a day max. and while i bot i occasionally talk to the guild members and attend events with them
