[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

Hi Millz,

First great routine. The only question i have is when i want to play affliction the only this the bot does is try and spam rain of fire. Is there a setting that i am missing that needs to be clicked for it to cast agony, corruption etc?

Thanks

Hey

Restart the bot when you change spec (i.e. when going from destruction to affliction). You can change talents/glyphs without reloading, but not spec.

Cheers

I'm guessing you have movement enabled in the routine's settings? Movement doesn't really work with Tyrael. Tyrael is used for when YOU want to control the movement, mounting, etc. The routine, at most, can perform targeting and facing while using Tyrael, but it really can't do much in the way of movement as that's not coded in really well to work with Tyrael. With movement enabled in the routine it may cause you to do a small amount of movement, but movement and Tyrael aren't made to work together.

I can't really guess anything else without a full, unedited log attached though, so for more in-depth troubleshooting please attach a log file. If you're not sure how, there's a link in my signature that will tell you how.

@zeldrak,

Gonna check tonight and you´re right. The movement option is clicked inside CR a I am using Tyrael...

Thanks for yous answer.
Rgds,

Rgds,
Yeah, if you're using Tyrael just disable the movement option in Demonic. You don't really need it with that bot base. No problem for the answer. Glad it helped.

I'm having trouble with my felhunter/Gorrogg just using silence as it pleases :p anyone got a fix for that ? ;)

Gateway is normally cast out of combat, so the mouseover isn't really required.

^ This. It'll be updated :)

Have you loaded a profile into grind bot?

No. Honorbuddy won't be ready for then either. We'll not be getting a full Honorbuddy build ready for WoD until about a week before release, so we'll need to re-write lots of code for the updated API. No idea how long it will take at this stage - hopefully won't take too long.

Yes I loaded the profile.

Here's what's happening: my lock runs between hotspots, and at each hotspot, it will target anything within pull distance and attack based on your routine, it's working perfectly as designed. However, when my lock is running between two hotspots, if a mob starts attacking my voidlord, my lock will stand there, watching the pet killed by the mob, then killed my lock as well. Only if I manually target the mob, my lock will kill the mob.

So I think the problem is that my lock would pull mobs and kill them. But if the mob attacks my voidlord first, my lock won't target the mob unless I manually do that.

my DPS has almost doubled over singular , i do have a question though, how can i disable casting any type of fear in my rotations as i mainly do raiding and the mobs are immune and this would increase my dps even more. thanks in advance. btw your mage profile kicks ass too !

I can't remember exactly where it's located, but there's an option for fears in the settings GUI in Demonic. Just take the time to explore the settings tabs. All fears are there (fear, blood terror, and whatever the rest of them are called). Just peruse the GUI.

Hello again and sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do I use the toggle functions?
I set "Toggle AOE" to my "A" key, but whenever I press "A" it will still continue to do AOE abilites. I have tried pressing it with modifiers, that being what I believe was "ALT" by default, and have also tried without modifiers needed.
Really hope I'm just dumb and this still works, but an explanation would be much appreciated.

So, I tried out the paid version, it still doesn't cast on the move when immolate is the next spell to be cast. Like I can be in mid run and use curse of elements and as long as I am running it doesn't cast anything until I stop.

EDIT***
Nevermind I found a setting that fixed the problem.

Hi Millz, i have a question

Is there a way to make if so while using Destruction spec.
Place an option to cast Chaos Bolt only when the cast time is below 2.0 seconds. I have noticed that it will cast Chaos bolt 90% of the time when it is at it's highest cast time of 2.79 seconds (and yes that is when it is at it's highest damage of 284k), however I also have seen the damage at 253k with a 1.79 second cast time. Now to me, the more you can cast, the more damage you can inflict.

Do you check the cast time prior to doing any cast?

Thanks

I have a suggestion for the routine millz, would you be able to make it so it would cast shadow fury on "X" number of pve targets but cast it on any pvp target? So like use it for 4+ mobs or if you happen to get into a pvp fight it would shadow fury one or more people. so it would be like "if pvp target then cast shadowfury" "if mob count =4 cast shadowfury" I know I suck at coding but that is more of a basis.

Have you got targeting enabled in the GUI? You should try enabling force combat too. Can you post a log file please? Ref: How To Attach a Log

You can disable fear from the 'Class Abilities' tab in the GUI :)

Hey - You need to use it with modifier keys, but TeamViewer can interfere with it. If you have TV running, exit it and then restart Honorbuddy.

Hey - Chaos Bolts are cast on trinket procs (that are specified in the advanced tab's aura list table). The only other time they're cast is when the number of embers you have goes over the setting value (i.e. 3.5.. 3.2). That's to prevent capping embers. It doesn't take cast time into account.

Hey - There's a couple reasons why I wouldn't want to add this in..

- People would want it for every ability
- There isn't enough space on the GUI
- There's already hundreds of settings, this would make it even worse to configure

As nice as the theory behind having settings for everything is, it's just not feasible to do.

Ahh, thanks Millz for the info. -----

Hey Face21

Nice idea, however I myself keep Shadow Fury on 3. The default is all enemy’s within 8 yards and if I am just standing there doing nothing out of the bg on a pvp server and some ally comes up and attacks me, think of this, you have to click shadowfury and then place that big green cycle to cast it. 80% of pvp players start out with a stun, so you will not get to cast it.
I use blood horror which I have spec’d and keep that on me at all times. This way If someone does attack me. They will run in horror for 4 seconds and then I can cast shadowfury. Also Howl of Terror works real well and you can set it for number of units.

I am doing random bgs with affliction spec and kicking butt with millz demonic. All you need to do is tweak it to your liking. It does really nice.

Ok, thanks Millz, was just thinking about it, One thing I haven't been able to find is the rain of fire on single target option, this was in the free version but isn't in the Premium one it seems.

Under Destruction you should have a scroll bar on the right side of the window, scroll down and you will see the RoF section show up. This is in premium version

Hi Millz,

not sure which option is to enable targeting, but force combat didnt make any difference. Here's the log, note that after moving to the last hotstop, the mob killed my pet then me, but the bot didnt do anything:

Hi Millz! First of all; thanks for the great routine, it's very polished and very good. I was wondering if I could make a request for the next version:

I was wondering if it was possible to add the option of a "short routine" for questing and such. Speaking from a Destruction point of view, for example, it's a waste to use Immolate on enemies that die in less than a few seconds (unless you're multi-dotting). For the mostpart, normal mobs tend to die before immolate has even ticked, so it's a total waste of time casting it.

I appreciate that this routine is designed primarily for raiding, but if it's not too much trouble to add something like this, it would add more utility, and I would be very grateful.

Thanks for your time.
