If you were BANNED, READ HERE NAUGH!

Alright folks, as many of you know... one out of my six accounts were banned. I had contacted a Community Manager on the forums with how many players are feeling Trions AAA anti-goldspam/bot cannons. Apparently, there are GM's in starter zones (Invisible) watching players and their IP's. Unfortunately, what they look out for mostly is how long that player stays in a beginning area and if they interact/walk like a bot.

So, I wanted to test this theory. I actually logged onto Glyph (no updater.exe), just me and my logitech keyboard. I made a name such as "ASdaswee". Now... I thought to myself "If I set up a logitech macro... and just stand here, I'll see how true this is".

And so I did. I set up my macro to simply /jump every 3 minutes and after my 2nd jump my chat was instantly locked and I was removed by a GM. I then logged back in, I tried to type "I WAS JUST JOKING!" (lol, btw this was a F2P acct I made to test this). And I was banned again, and again.

Anywho....

After all the testing and 3 days waiting, my account has been UNBANNED as of 42 minutes ago. =)
I suggest if you were banned to SIMPLY not admit to botting at all.

Rules
1) NEVER admit to botting,
2) never admit to knowing what botting is
3) never ever admit to knowing someone who bots

... simply say "what? like the gold farmers? ME ?" and play the idiot card, your ego can take it.

Never report bots (its also against the rules here)

Once unbanned, will they have a close eye on you?
Wouldnt make much sense to somehow unban my botting account not to bot on it anymore.

Where was the form you submitted to be unbanned?
 
was this in the firran start ? we could test the GM detection to see if its working....
