So, GGG must have done some updating or something to their code, PoE Runs much smoother now and hogs less CPU. After some testing, about 1 week's worth, and last night's patch.
Run your bots at minimum 30 FPS, it will be the same as 15 fps before, there is minimal difference in performance gains with the extra 15 FPS that most of you cut off.
- Bot runs much, much smoother
- Logic completes and you see better CR(default CR) performance
- No stuttering
- Chicken works lightning fast
- Bot loads areas faster, and initial transition into a new area, getting it's terrain, and mapping it out for explore, works very smooth.
- Haven't seen stucks, City of Sarn Wall banging, etc.
- Don't die as much
- Doesn't miss loot at all.

This is from a 120 Concurrent sample size of bots.

For VM based bots I am still tesing.

Last words, if you are serious about botting ( a very, very bad idea, as this is by no means stable income), get more PCs, don't push that one pc harder then it has to. You will get issues, which will waste more time then it's worth.

Thanks for reading.

Are you saying you have 120 bots running all at once?

well, yea.

120 copies of exilebuddy for a game with enough RNG to stump rainman.. crazyness.

As for the tickrate.. it is the length of ms between ticks of the bot. Meaning you are adding a slight delay to literally everything the bot does.

I would not recommend doing this unless you are running many bots and currently seeing performance issues.

Everything you said about performance increase is solely due to the fact you were stressing your pc's before.

Well It was 15 FPS before running, 20 bots.
Now I can do 25 Bots 30 Fps, 95% cpu, so yea dunno.
It's probably push's new bot, he did some changes and it made significance performance increase.

lol dark. dare I ask how much time you spend sorting through rares or do you have an item filter doing most of that for you or do you straight up ignore rares? i can't even imagine how much work 120 bots must be.

um, sell all rares, buy with currency what I need, sell everything else. trade currency only. Uniques unless it's ex worth, I don't even bother. Bot fills up stash tabs pretty quick doing 24/7 of currency. Sell all id scrolls/portals

ah ok. it seems like with that many bots, you could do a super strict item filter and get a handful of pretty awesome rares that'd be worth some money. i suppose i am making the assumption that you are farming high item level areas.

But but, last time i read one of your words of wisdom you said you were pulling 6 figures a month.
