4 accounts banned during an routine check. 1 recovered (no bot) rest of 3 banned still

part of their message.

What has happened was that your account was flagged during a routine system scan that looks for botters, and it sometimes bans an account that looks suspicious, this doesn't mean an account has done something wrong, just something the system doesn't recognize or sees it as a potential problem.
 
uhh..sorry for your loss.
where r u botting? For how long? which version of EB were u using?
 
last beta version. mixed areas. traded with main, party with main, party with several people. grinded up to lvl 50, 2 days of botting. and all were killed. insta. different ips, and class ips, different devices. no link between them. i've made sure (except public parties, but never all 3 at once, never 2, and always different members, long story, i did everything possible not to look as botting behaviour). over night i've left them afk in town, cruel act 2 after some fellshrine grind, in the morning (7-10 hours later) all banned by administrator. with 15 mins before maint. i have no ideea when the ban occured.

They probably checked, the accounts by hand. Bad luck dude.
 
no problem man. starting all over :) i sure made a mistake somewhere. we learn from them.
 
Perhaps Detection the windows task process(exilebuddy process name)??

Curious, what do u mean with "Checked by hand" ? they came ingame and followed ?
Cause, u know, one thing is seeing you botting (which takes time and efforts from GGG), the other is having a system that looks into your active processes and finds "Exilebuddy"....which is the one I am mostly scared of...
 
If you think GGG is checking your local system processes, feel free to rename ExilebuddyBETA.exe to something of your choice.

As for as we know, they do not do that. They use server-sided bot detection, which botters have no ability to look though and work out how detection / bans are done, unlike client sided stuff.
 
so far everything is behaviour / report related. they check NOTHING client side. ( pretty sure about this but not 100% )
