Sorry all, been out of town for the weekend (but I got some 40+ paragon levels over the weekend)
I probably can do that, not only with Impale but with Multi Shot and Cluster Arrow as well, as soon as I found out how to add "weights" to the spells. While we, humans, understand we should pop all sentries first and later spam hit targets with the big boom spells, DB is not that smart yet (or maybe I am not that smart yet to make it do so). It is on my todo list.
Glad it worked. Sorry about that.
Maybe my instructions were a little misleading. Here is what happens: when you copy the original Trinity plugin folder, you should copy it elsewhere outside Plugins/ folder. If you just make a copy inside Plugins/ folder, DB will get confused and will not know which one to load. So, let us try a different approach: Instead of making a plain copy of the original Trinity plugin folder, create a compressed copy of it, by right clicking on the Trinity folder and select "Send to" and then "Compressed (zipped) folder". Just like the picture below.
Type in a name you may remember later what's that file about, and you are done with the backup. Then while at this very same Plugins/ folder, just uncompress my modified Trinity combat rules, overwriting files as needed, restart DB and you should be good. Should you want/need to revert changes back, you just need to uncompress that one zip file you created, overwriting everything and bringing it all back to the original, unchanged Trinity plugin.
Hope this helps.

Can you modify this combat change so that my DH won't spend hatred for impale when hatred is under certain amount? Cuz my DH will spend all his hatred for impale whenever there are elite packs , sentries will not be casted at that moment

I installed a fresh copy of rift bot with quest tools and trinity and then I copied your files into trinity but now DB wont even have Trinity as a plugin when I start DB. What am I doing wrong?
I have the same problem if i try to merge difference trinity folders.
