I've been trying to search for this but everything I find is old info, from like 2011-2012.

I'm curious how to do this with the intent of dungeoning to 85 (battlechest accounts) and then farming dungeons separately for gold. I currently have an account that I started leveling 3 days ago - how would I go about recruiting 3-4 more accounts and maximizing?

I start off by creating 3-4 google mail accounts, then whats next?

How to:

Step 1: Create a new gmail account.
Step 2: Create a new battlenet account using the new gmail account.
Step 3: buy a battlechest, we will name this wow1.
Step 4: Create a character on this one, log in, use the recruit a friend symbol to send 4 invites to the same gmail account you made in step 1, and used for this battlenet account. you're essentially recruiting yourself.
Step 5: Click on all 4 links you just sent yourself. Your battlenet screen should now have 5 accounts listed, from wow1, to wow5. Upgrade these accounts to battlechests (max lvl 85), you now have 1 free month of play time on them.
Step 6: Create new characters on all of them, pick classes with the intent that 3 are going to be dpsers, 1 is going to be tank, and 1 is gonig to be a healer. Level these separately(or together using a raf plugin, though it's kind a lot of hassle, bugs out alot) to lvl 15.
Step 7: create a party with all 5, configure dungeonbuddy (you'll need 5 honorbuddy licenses) so that the tank is the leader, the other 4 are the followers, and press start on your bots. They should now queue up for random dungeons and run through them, getting the raf triple xp bonus.

You'll need to tweak bot settings, there's a video in one of the forum sections showing you how, cant remember where. Edit: Read here: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...e-hb-using-dungeonbuddy-2-raf-characters.html
For he tank, you'll have to manually set his role to tanking in the bot settings. Whe you do this, the bot will warn you that this is not safe. Ignore it, since no one can report you anyways.

ok, is this common place or do most people who intend to dungeon farm at 85, create separate gmails for all 5?

Don't really see any reason at all to create separate gmail/battlenets. Most accounts are banned for doing something wrong, not by association. If you get 5/5 accounts banned, all 5 were caught botting. If you only get 3/5 banned, only 3 were caught botting. I read about an instance where banned by association was used, but that was because the guy was selling insane amounts of gold to people, and they viewed all of his accounts as grossly violating terms. Do't worry about this though.

what about which paypal i buy it with? its linked to my main account, will that matter?

also - is there some delay to getting the RAF icon to appear? i created a new account and it's not there yet. I'm guessing blizzard has to verify some payment first?

No, association can not get an account banned, blizzard must treat each account as an individual client, even though they're all on the same battlenet, or paid by the same guy.
The account may take as long as 72 hours to be upgraded to a battlechest from a starter edition, at which point the raf icon will appear. Usually doesnt take more than a few hours though.

Separate battlenet accounts for sure. Be paranoid, the paranoid usually live longer.

won't the cost be more to do 5 on one account, as opposed to 5 different accounts?

like, because you cant use the $10 battle chest url?

Creating 5 email accounts and 5 battlenet accounts takes 1 hour, give or take. Also , the ban reports thread is full of 5/5 folks, with the 1/5 , 2/5, 3/5 folks being the exception.

I can't understand why some people choose to create all their bots in the same bnet. Granted , we don't know the methods they use to identify accounts, but handling them the account linking that way, wow that's not very smart.

Just ask yourself....if they find one account in one bnet botting, and there's four more accounts in the same bnet...why in hell wouldn't they take a look at those accounts, or flag them for investigation?

Actually, they did ban me on 5 accounts when I had 5 different battle.nets a while ago, so I figured it doesn't matter.

They were raf linked though. Perhaps remove that connection and it wouldn't have happened.

If they are RaF linked - nomatter what you do - Vmware, diffrent machines, other battlenet accounts, I've tried it all with all the same result, instant ban on all if one is investigated - all are investigated.

And why did they need to investigate you in the first place, you failed on your part to avoid that. I bot for fun not to make gold so...that human playing my accounts needs to sleep, take breaks, go out... so everyday is not the same.

They do not ban all of them. You think of it this way if I RAF my brother his in a different house different state. I decide to bot on my guys and sell gold they are going to ban my brother for RAFing with a botter. Hell no!

I said - they will investigate ALL raf-linked accounts, that does not mean they will ban them all... ( obviously if you don't bot on the account, you wont get banned duh - unless heavy gold selling )

I bot all my accounts, I was saying Human because thats the way I bot. The best way ever.

anyone have trouble using RaF? it says it cannot be done for 1/5 accounts for some reason - and to try again later.

Every single day 5 accounts for the last 3 years, just when I feel like opening them up. If you have 5 accounts and are just doing it for gold and farming 24/7 then yes huge risk. I have had my accounts for a while and sell gold to pay for their subs along with a little extra cash.
