It seems to me Blizz would notice everyone going offline at the same time when a tripwire is up. Is there anyway to just stop the bot and not kick us all from wow? This may have already ben gone over but if not it would be nice to here your thoughts on it. Also it seem like a red flag to anyone you raid or RBG with.

they close wow because there may be traces of honorbuddy in the game instance still

i could see how thousands of clients closing at one time would seem suspicious, but i'm sure you'd be more at risk if it didn't.

The idea that Blizzard would notice a large number of accounts going offline at the same time has been discussed.

Hmmmm, yeah. With 6 million+ users playing WoW, I am sure they have never had tens of thousands log out simultaneously.

Traces of HB in the game instance? I don't understand that at all. Either the bot is working or its not, how can there be traces of it when its shut down? Don't see the reason to close wow.

I am curious how many HB useres are actually online generally at once

The bot injects stuff into wow if I recall correctly (Please correct me if I am wrong) and just closing down Honorbuddy doesn't remove the already injected things.

Sure they have every other Saturday afternoon/evening from Time Warner and Comcast customers!

If Blizzard know how to trigger a tripwire, then its not impossible.

If im correct, tripwire detects changes in warden. So if they change it, they "trip it".

Whats there to know then on how to trip it. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out?

For all we know, Warden developers may be making live changes for whatever reason to cause HB's Tripwire to activate.

Much better safe than sorry though.

Everyone understands Warden, the question is why shut down wow and not just HB. Mass kicks offline seems like something Warden looks for. Its a fact that Warden and his band of marry men also use HB to help spot bots.

Please read my reply here:

And guys try and stop speculating about why Blizzard are updating Warden. Don't spread false info... and all that.

forum statistics say
Code:
There are currently 1541 users online. 373 members and 1168 guests
member counter can be taken as legit, i'd say take 50% of the guest accounts (might include crawlers and timed out/duplicated users) that would be 957 (previously) users.
let's say every user runs 1.3 bots => we're at ~1,200 bots that just dropped :D (very rough calculation)

not including the poor bastards that skip the auth servers and ignore warden checks. the people that really want to bot but have no care for their account at all

I wanna get in on one of these Tripwire tinfoil hat threads before its closed.

You aren't one for reading replies are you? Honorbuddy injects code into the WoW client when it gets up and running. Stopping Honorbuddy doesn't pull the injected code out of the game client. Hopefully you can now see the reason the client is completely closed.

Is this the reason why you just close out HB while it's still running without hitting stop WoW freezes?

Did another tripwire go off? I would like to see a sticky with the times a massive tripwire event happens and we all log off. I check here every time I bot to see the latest. Its got me jumpy and more cautious.
