HearthBuddy not up to Buddy par.

I have used the Honorbuddy and Demonbuddy extensively, both of which are far more complex and difficult to create than Hearthbuddy.

I just started using hearthbuddy today in order to do some win farmin, and man... There isn't even simple math programmed into this thing. I first switched to one of the builds listed on the forum here that did away with all the buffing of cards, because they will just end up sitting in your hand as the bot will refuse to use them. Fine whatever, not like I'm trying to climb the ladder.

Then I watched it... and the thing just TRIES to lose games. I'm not expecting any miracles, but when I have a 2/3 a 2/1 and a 6/5 and the other guy has a 4/5. Then i watch the bot send the 2/3 > 2/1 and then the 6/5 into it. I'm just wondering how lazy this was developed compared to the other amazing bots under the buddy name.

I'm not expecting it to be "smart" just not completely retarded in doing the worst thing imaginable every game.

Use silverfish addon it makes the bot work a TON more effectively. When I first started using hearthbuddy without silverfish I would average a 28% winrate after I used silverfish my winrate almost doubled to 46% in 183 ranked games.

Well, at least the default behavior doesn't randomly skip crucial attacks. This custom deck will decide not to attack at the worst times. I honestly don't know how anyone could lose to this bot. Is rank 20 just all bots trading wins with each other?

mmm you do run into some instant concedes around 20-18 but overall it depends on your deck composition. More simple aggro decks tend to do a lot better than lets say a miracle deck where it requires a lot more thinking and planning.

I agree with that, it's viable for getting golden portraits at rank 20 and 30 daily wins and thats pretty much it.

Vouch this. Was annoyed at how bad it worked at first, then ran silverfish with a crap fresh made account and was around 50%+

To be fair, every Buddy bot sucks on its own. HonorBuddy has quest/gathering profiles and bot bases (Tyrael, LazyRaider, etc.) made for it by other (non-Buddy) Devs. DemonBuddy sucks without Trinity and all the custom-made farming profiles.

Once the HearthBuddy base is done (no idea on an ETA for that), custom API like Silverfish will make it just as good as any other bot. Sadly it just isn't there yet.

If you are stuck at rank 20-18 you are having issues with your deck not the bot. I personally have reached rank 13 at my bot's peak. Also, stuck at rank 20 is GOOD actually. I'm planning to drop soon since rank 20-18 are the easier games.

And everyone stop complaining and read the forums hearthbuddy gives silverfish wrong info and makes wrong calculations. Also silverfish is being rewritten for hearth buddy while hanker space is still working on the code it self. If you want everything to get fixed stop complaining and help hanker space and bot maker by posting constructive feedback and your logs. It's that simple

Also that bot that's been getting a lot if attention lately on other sites like reddit and blizzard forums the ai being used is a port of silverfish. So if it can get rank 4 to legend so can silverfish as soon as everything is compatible

This bot just came out, of course it will need more work. You don't use a bot to be the best. You use a bot to do mundane task so you can spend your time doing other things.

Thanks for telling me what I use a bot for. I guess that authority comes with making 68 posts like the one you just made. Somehow in your mind, you posting that and increasing your post count by 1 made you less of a "nub" then you were before you posted it and only had 67 posts. Sound logic.

I got legendary already... before the "ohhh surreeee you did" send me a message and we can be real bnet friends and we can have a game, and you will have your proof. I don't know why this is even part of the discussion or what it has to do with anything.

I'm not sure what your argument with me is. Hearth buddy with silverfish my highest rank is 8 same ai with another bot I'm currently rank 4 and people useing a clone of silverfish have gotten to legend this only started last week two .Never said I did just saying if the bot is better then a human and get to legend then it's a bonus and of course I know that every buddy wants the bot to be able to do this.

Bot is working ok. It does the job. The thing I am not satisfied is how slow it's being developed (I am not saying that Hanker is lazy but maybe there should be more people working on it?). The other bot is way ahead and if hearthbuddy wont pick up the fight that bot will gather a better community and be the best hs bot because of that. I bought hearthbuddy and I will stick with it because spending another 20 euro for bot that does the same but better is not enough for me. But still I regret choosing Hearthbuddy.

Are there any screens of people getting legend with hearthbuddy? Not that it matter to me but some people posted here that other people got legend with it. Or was it about that other bot?
