[The Final Answer / The Calculation] How high is the Chance of getting Banned?

Hello Community.

Okay you got here because the Title of the Thread seems to tell you that you can find a very important answer here.

The Answer is in this Spoiler:
The Chance of getting banned is: X%

It depends on what you are doing! If you use a Gather Profile with only 10 Coordinates for over 24 hours you are going to be banned.
If you are stuck in a Tree or permanently run into a wall you are going to be banned.

There are too many reasons why you can get banned.
Use common sense. Try to think like a non-botting Person. How would you identify a Bot?

If you use your main account to bot. Stop it! You should never ever use your Main Account to bot.
Create Toon accounts like i did. I have 3 Accounts running 24/7 on a second Computer. They Farm for me. They put everything in the Guild Bank. And start farming again.
Mailing is being observed. It is Dangerous.

If you are willing to learn make your own personal Profiles. That would lower the chances a lot.

If you worry about ''how high is the chance of getting banned?'' / ''are my accounts going to be banned?'' Stop Botting! Even if you just use the Combat Routines the chances exist that you are able to get banned.
You should know that everything you do with Hacks/Bots is going to give you a ban after time.

I use my 3 accounts 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. And they are not banned yet. I bought each one of these for 15$. They are worth nothing. Even if they get banned. I just create new Accounts and buy the game again. I don't care about them.

Maybe you ask why i made this thread?
-It is easy. There are so many people out there that botted with accounts and worry about getting banned. I just wanted to tell you guys that you should stop botting on your main account today. Buy new ones. There are Key Trading sites where you can get the ''Battlechest'' key for 5-6$.

The main thing that i wanted to say with this thread is: Never ever Bot with your Main Account!

I would enjoy some Feedback and let me know what you think :)

i would love to see one of these account you talk about for 5-6 bucks.
 
While most of this is generally common sense. This is all one hundred percent true and I agree with everything you've said. With all the influx of "Is botting safe" or "Will I get banned" threads on the forums lately since the tripwire event I hope people come see this thread first.

That is not a advertisement or anything. But i bought my CD Keys for the ''Battlechest'' from G2A[dot]com.

There you can find the ''Battlechest'' and it only costs about 6 euros so it will be about 5$.

Yeah and MoP costs about 10$ over there. so. in total 15$

yeah that is what i want to do.
There are to many thread about 'am i going to be banned?'.
so yeah. i wanted to make a thread with the final answer for them.
 
Well said, nice thread. Besides all the facts that backstein pointed above, it must be said that another big factor in getting banned is luck, besides of course experience.
 
Information that is already available in approx. 1 million threads. Nothing new here + it even lacks of information.

There is only one golden rule:

#1 Don't bot on an account you care about.

If you understood this, all "how high is the chance" "give me a percentage" and all this shit is obsolete. People that still don't understand this, keep asking.

I think the issue is they don't know, they're trying to gather information (I think) about what's being targeted.
 
Well, 6 Euros is more than 6 USD...Euro is worth more.

Regardless, people are worried that the program itself and it's injection method are compromised. We all know the risks of botting, but we want to make sure it's a risk and not suicide.
 
Most people begin spouting off with random thoughts about "Don't do this, Don't do that.." but you sir, have actually understood what people are looking for. I commend you. Most people are asking is it safe, please re-read the post above and you will realize that this really what they are asking and are worried about, will it be a suicide. Not everyone is 2900 capable, or have time to farm every single day, I'm not here to boast about my ratings, or to be rude which it probably came off as, but to simply put it like this: There are many people who are followers, but how can one follow with no assurance? Again see above post for the real reason why you see so many questions like this.
 
Short and simple answer. In my opinion the Chance is 0,1 - 100%. I do this since 10 years, the sooner or later u will get banned. But i also read some interessting statements in this thread i must admit!

this^ all people want is more info, with the recent tripwire event that hasn't happened for years, no new information being released, and the original announcement of "Blizzard pushed a change to WoW's version of their anti cheat system, Warden. This is the first change that concerns us in over 3 years. The risks associated with botting have risen and it will be at least 30 days before we can report on the changes." can you blame anyone for being worried?

Edit: Something else I find funny is that I used to bot all the time, for at least 8 hours a night about 3 years ago and that account was never banned or suspended. So no sooner or later you will be banned is false and not always the case.
 
I've created 3 Starters accounts and I am running on 3 machiens doing different things 24/7, one is doing BG, one Gathering and one is just Grinding, I want to see how long it takes for them to get banned and what is the reason and what not.

I'll update later this week, to see how they are doing.
 
Im using bots since Glider then i switched to mimic and pirox and i never got caught.Just dont be lazy and take a bit care.

I am botting since Years, too. I got one time. Why?

Because i was AFK and my Bot did Circles for Hours. He did not stuck, so he didn't log out. He just ran in cicles. But i could turn the Perma into 72H.
 
All about common sense, just like my sig.

Not everybody understands that though :)

Where did you learn to math?
6 EUR = 8.06 US Dollar

Aaaanyways, on g2a the price is:
Battlechest: 10.06USD
MoP : 16,15-24,23USD
Total price : 26,21-34,29USD or 19.36-25.32EUR

Do you know any better method/place to buy cheap Keys? Except MMOGA and G2A?
 
This entire thread is useless and incorrect right now since we don't know if it's detected or not yet...
