What's the deal with the Wand of Woh and Starmetal Kukri?

So my toons each found a WoW and Kukri respectively, and quite good rolls at that. Sadly, I have no insight into the builds that make these items powerful (if they even are). Can someone please help me out with some info on these? I've just seen people talk about them, but that's about it

thanks. how would i gear for this build? it's the chainpocalypse build right?

Been botting about 300 hour without a damn WoW or Kukri drop. RNGesus must love you
 
same here, botted 100's of hours, i usually run at least 8 hours a night, play legit during the day, rifts, t4 and t5 etc, mostly on my wd, sometimes on my barb, done my dh as well, and still have yet to find a WOW or Starmetal, i also have spent probably at LEAST 5k shards on gloves at kadalla for tasker and theo, and nothing, prob closing in on 10k for real

I have gotten 2 shards of hate, and 2 thunderfury's, 2 tall man's finger, i've found several stone of jordans, unities, pretty much most of the "rare" items, i've found at least 1 of, cept for those 2 mentioned, sucks lol

Unity / TMF / Thunderbufy / SOJ are just normal rarity items
 
I just created a Wizard from scratch to see how long it would take me to get WOW. I did find a SMK SUPER SUPER early on release of ROS but i didn't know what i had and it was worse then my current weapon (i think level 63) and i ditched it...

I have found with my new Wizard
4 Piece of Firebirds
1 vyr
3 Tal Rasha (2 necks 1 chest)

Selectively. I haven't seen a witching hour on my dex or str accounts (only 1 on my int account), and I too have been grafting away for weeks on end. rng is what rng does. as long as i get one sooner or later
 
witching hour gods love me, have found about 12 so far.. 2 perfect ones.
 
Haven't seen a single witching hour yet,or kukri,or wand of woh,paragon 530...sad.
 
I have found WoW for wizard but no kukri. what I really want to find is furnace, good one. I found one but real low weapon dmg and low life% dmg. Still Better than nothing.
Where are you furnace.... ?
 
Ironically,yesterday I posted that I haven't seen a single kukri,today I woke up,checked my stash for legendariles I got overnight and what do I see ?Kukri!!!Finally!!!(Lowest roll though LOL)

Still no Witching Hour though :(

Nice grats! Kukri is the one item I really want I to find seems like I have found at least a dozen each of the other leg ceromoniak knives.

Kukri dropped on my Crusader last night;) yes it dropped on my Crusader. I am looking for Tall man's finger.

Can Tall man finger drop on Crusader?

I found a really nice Wand of Woh on chest runs, 2338 dmg 9%dmg 700~ int and socket, but problem is I dont wanna play a damn wizard Ive been searching for smk for ages, paragon 650~ RnG is not on my side when it comes to SmK !
 
Yeah different accounts seem to find certain items better than others. //Tinfoilhattery

I have a few accounts and oddly enough one finds Thunderfury all of the time. Same account finds tons of really well rolled rings. Can't find several other GG legendaries that one of my other account finds all of the time. For that matter one of my friends has found nearly a dozen Wand of Woh but cannot seem to get any SoJs.

Weird, no?

I noticed that too. My crusader need Furnace but my wizard in the other account found it. Furnace for wizard? Just like Starmetal Kukri drops on Crusader haha
