TuanHA Hunter - The Ultimate Experience

Hey Tuan,

I am still having the issue I reported a few days ago with logs, where when the character is walking towards a target and pet gets aggro, the monster that aggro'ed the pet does not get included on the target list and honestly I do not know if that is a CC issue or a bot issue ignoring that ADD.

Would you have any tips of what I could do to identify the issue so I can either report it to you or to the support section so they can look at it? It does happen with singular and your CC.

Right now I am using TheBrodieMan's Compendium plugin to grind shao hao rep on timeless isle and from time to time, not all the time, the pet will get aggro and the character just ignore it and I would like to nail where the issue is at.

What I was pointing out to you actually, is that in your picture you linked you are BM.. So you see, you linked a picture of a parse where your character doesn't even have Aimed Shot as an ability... So clear Skada, make sure you are Marks, restart HB and then select your Marks settings. Then do a fresh 100 million damage parse on a target dummy that isn't the 20% hp one * it changes the rotation when someone is low ya know*.. Then post a picture of that report :)
 
May seem like an unusual request and sorry if it has been asked before, did not find anything when I searched, but would it be possible to have some kind of toggle for solo mode where the pet won't be ordered to attack until I have done at least one point of damage to the mob? Don't want to think about what loot I might be missing out on because my pet keeps one shotting things.

Have been resorting to dismissing my pet and just farming solo, but that does not feel Hunterish to me. Although I guess the level 100 WoD talent would kind of make this option moot, but it would be something nice to have in the mean time if possible. :)

Do you have the Attack out of Combat option checked ?

There is an option on the bot that will disable the PET state then you can manually set it to passive aside from that if you're farming things that get killed with one shot its probably best to just dismiss the pet and set the bot not to summon it again there is also an option for that.

If it is either on defensive or assist it will attack so it might or might not hit before you, would be nice to have an option for the pet to attack only after the HP is at 90% or less or something when farming things that die to fast.
 
Don't know what im doing wrong.. I'm only getting around 150k dps with ilvl 538 gear. Noxxic dps rankings say I should be doing closer to 240 :S .

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, im using special edition and tiger pet. Survival spec.

That really depends on what gear you have(if any set bonus), what trinkets, what wep, if you properly refoged/gemmed/enchanted, etc.

And you want to pull 240K on PvP or PvE? On PvE I don't think you can you have so many PvP parts where the PvP bonus will not affect your DPS at all, you have no reforge/enchant or at least that site doesn't show it if u have any so if you don't have 7.5 hit/exp you will be missing valuable DMG with miss/etc.

Try using Ask Mr. Robot to tune your character for either PvP or PvE either way you want at least 7.5 exp/hit on both as they will help you.

Also I am talking about constant single target not AoE as I am sure on AoE you can easily pull over 300k.

Was looking for it on PVE.

Thanks for the advice, i will look to replace as much of my pvp gear as possible if thats causing the issue :)

The 550 is not a bad gear but you get no bonus of the PvP Power on PvE so that makes a big loss to it, given you have the proper reforge/gem/enchant you could be pulling 200k, you have great trinkets if you're BM, I would try to replace the Assurance with an Ebon Trinket.

7.46% hit you will miss a lot on PvE which was the hit % it was saying on that site, you could set askmrrobot on the options to at least so it will make sure you have 7.5 if its not getting to it.

Also if you're using the Mastery reforge forget about it, its crap go with either cri/haste prio or haste/crit.

I'm survival, was just reforging my gear as the Mr.robot addon suggested really to be honest but once again thanks for the tips :)

On ask mr robot, Edit Weights > Enable "At Least" Mode and since you're survival you can use the "Agi > Hit=Exp > Crit > Haste > Mastery", if you can get 7.5 hit/exp without using the "At Least" mode its a lot better as you won't waste that much stats on it.

The rampage trinket is good for AoE but not as good for single target proc's so you might want to replace that with haromm's or even ebon trinket instead aside from that try using a combat bot with the raid profile on a dummy while moving from one side to another never standing still and see what avg dmg you get, from the total deduce around 20~35% it might get you a good base of what your damage will look like.

I'm not sure if it great but for me it's decent and really easy to make the job done.

Just my suggestion to help you guy having trouble getting top dps chart (will proper gems, reforge, trinket... you will I'm sure because I've test my hunter all the time and it doing on par or better dps than simcraft)

Normaly i play only PvE,but with my Hunter PvP and I am sure that your Routine with WoD will fulfill their job well

im a big fan of ure Routines but i think im doing a bit low on dmg too with the Hunter Routine. Idk why but even with 550 PvP its a bit low compared to other. But i know u will be try to fix this ASAP! So keep up the good work!

One other question: Is someone here that played a bit higher with the routine and would share his settings?
