so the new update requires honorbuddy to have netframework 4.5.1 - this is however not supported by Windows xp..

any options ? really hate updates like this since it's been working fine for over 2 years on my pc and now I get this ..

You've had years and several extended deadlines to upgrade to a modern operating system. If you haven't managed to put together the money to do that, you probably shouldn't be running 5 bots

Ignoring that, try http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetSpecific?filter=Honorbuddy&build=723 for an older build of Honorbuddy, however make sure that you keep the current versions of your plugins, routines, botbases and profiles, as newer ones will break. Also hope that none of those auto-update, as I know a lot of them do

You'll also want to add authenticators to your bot accounts, as no doubt your Windows XP machine will be infected with malware shortly due to Microsoft dropping support (:

Oh, and hope that Blizzard doesn't patch WoW ever again, because as soon as they do Honorbuddy will no longer function.

Thank you very much. ps I currently run 15 bots though spread over 3 computers, this is the only one with windows xp.
Did they announce they will stop putting honorbuddy for windows xp ? because this was rather sudden for me.
 
hmm - it seems the version you posted also requires framework 4.5.1, do you have an older version by any chance ? I was a fool not to make a backup before updating ><

Just try decrementing the number at the end of the URL until you find a build that works
 
Dude WinXP is 13 years old.. it's "Abandonware", it is no longer supported by MS and you will never get security updates for it...
It isn't safe, for nothing... And a lot of software and hardware aren't compatible.
How is it possible to have WinXP on a machine that can run WoW 5 oO

Don't diss my pc :p it was top of the line 7 years ago XD

to be fair though, WoW isn't heavy at all - even my laptop can handle 5x

Almost 80% of the HB user base was in the data collection (from 11 april).

Guess how many % was Windows XP? 0.76%

I can see why you wanted to drop xp support then, makes sense.
