WD T6 Ghom averaging 65 games an hour with 3 to 6 wait time and no instant leave.
 
Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

Helm - Mask of Jeram (99%)
Shoulders - Aughild's Power - 15% Gargantuan
Gloves - Tasker and Theo - Trifecta(40%)
Ring 1 - Tall Mans Finger - Trifecta (+wpn damage)
Ring 2 - SoJ (Fire/CritChance)
Weapon - Sun Keeper(29%) 1300 Weapon Damage =/
Legs - Blackthorne's
Boots - Blackthorne's
Off hand - Homunculus (Crit Chance)
Belt - Witching Hour
Amulet - Haunt of Vaxo (no proc with WD)
Chest - Tyrael's Might (20%) ** need one of these with Int/20% Demon/+15% Gargantuan for BiS but I dont have yet =/
Bracer - Aughild's (20% Fire/5% CC)


I use an enchantress since I dont need healing from Templar.


This is my build and I never die nor do I fall below 63 games per hour.

3-6 seconds wait time.
 
Are you running instant leave? I manage around 60/h without instant leave. Don't want to get hit with the error
 
No im not running instant leave and ive been without the 42002 error for days and just like an hour ago it popped up*FUCK!* Ive used both +Fire and +Physical and they both seem to be about equal, perhaps with all BiS gear physical might be out fire by a second or two, but at the moment with the gear I have Fire is working best for me.

tbh just because it works and rather than mess with it I just keep on using it (I have +80% phys, 99% pet MoJ) weird thing is that I use rhen'ho flayer & RoT in everything but Ghom :D

just tried out RoT with both rhen'ho and doombringer (doom has 20%phys) and yh it similar kill rate to firebats with the upside of never dropping mana if ghom goes walkabout :)

65 w/u instantleave?
i have about 57-59 with instantleave. the thing is fighting ghom is the shortest part (like 7 sec) so no idea how you can get 65 with instantleave since gamecreation is serverside
 
Sorry if offtopic but how do i make my WD wait for actual combat before casting Gargantuan?
 
why would u do 3-6 secs wait time? my 1-2 Works like a charm^^

idk about him, but I dont use FS... Ghom dies so fast the moment I engage combat that the fetishes wouldnt make up for it using that skill instead of something else
 
I get about 60 GPH without instant leave after tweaking my WD build some and swapping 6 dogs for 1 giant dog. I do not use fetish syco passive. I also switched to enchantress follower, The main thing that sped up these kills(the dog alone is amazing, 70m crits fast as hell vs the 700-900k single dog crits) was getting rid of the 6 dogs in exchange for 1. This makes the pet AI easier to surround ghom with more free open spots, before having 8 fetishes + 6 dogs + templar follower, sometimes the wrathful protector had issues getting onto ghom, sometimes ghom died while the WP just sat around behind the pets waiting to do damage. I was already getting 60GPH non instant leave prior to switching to this new SSD, I imagine if I went back to my other HD OS I would be getting 63-65 GPH with no instant leave. So this dude saying hes getting 65 GPH isn't hard to believe, it is in fact very easily believable. With the Fierce Loyalty movespeed change in 2.0.5 it made WD's crazy fast.

also: sun keeper with good weapon damage(not dps) works good, tyraels might works also, but i didnt find one with skill/good damage. on main skill panel you can set RoT and dogs, trinity summons them at start.

P.s: FS are good. On townrun, when all fetishes(FA) are already gone, 5-7 fetishes were still running, so at boss RoT spams them pretty good.
