looking for help with getting started writing profiles

as the title says, looking for some starter guidance on making some simple grinding profiles.

i have looked over the wiki but am lost to say the least. contact me on aim at fallensatin1977 if you are able to help me out at all.
 
willing to pay a small amount through paypal for help, or for someone to just write me up some easy grinding profiles.
 
You checked out the list of profiles on the forums?

There are loads of gridning profiles (and questing profiles).

People on forum chat will always usually beable to help. Alot of us profile writers share stuff and ideas on that.

looking for ogres in nagrand, ogres in blades edge, and maybe the dragonkin in crystalsong forest.

looking mostly for alliance side grinds tbh.

any help would be appreciated, and i dont like taking things for free, so we can probably work something out if someone is will to give me a hand here.
 
ok i will start with those and see if i can make sense of them bud, thanks i do appreciate it.
 
ok i think i have figured things out a bit, but now i cant seem t o convert my notepad file back into an xml file that HB will recognize. any help guys? tried several things including downloading XML NOTEPAD, which does not seem to work too well for me.
 
notepad ++ is what you should be using. it'll check for missing < > and stuff. also, make sure your os is showing file extensions (google this) it will make the .xml / .txt etc.. show up.

ok got it working, so thanks guys, to a certain extent lol.

it does not like my vendor or mail box coding for some reason, when i remove those, it works pretty well. any thoughts? i am working an alliance profile in nagrand, wanting to use the telaar mailbox and repair spot.

Why not just grab a profile from someone else, and take a look at it, to see how they do things?
 
did that, changed the x y and z coords, and it says the x or < are characters that dont belong there, basically crashes HB and says that.
