[Party Plugin] SimpleFollow - Multi-Bot Party Plugin

Hello all,

I have followed the instructions for trying to run this plugin and no matter what it does not work correctly.

Current problems:

1.) Leader bot leaves and Follower bots are still in group, then leader tries to make new game and it freezes the D3 Client. "Even tried giving the leader 15sec before starting the new game, still sometimes happens".
2.) Follower bots randomly will think the Party leader has left and they try and leave the game, causing the D3 Client to freeze.

I have tried everything I could to get this to work, and no matter what it will not work correctly. Good effort though.
 
Everything seems to be working great! Until YAR relogs the accounts and DB, it always seems to uncheck the SimpleFollow Checkbox under plugins for my leader, therefore my follower did absolutely nothing today.

Anyone?

Edit: I have two accounts running, the follower logs on with YAR and has simplefollow checked off under plugins, but the leader never does.

Id give you logs, but im not sure where you want me to pull them from, since its a start of the process

go to DemonBuddy folder > settings > the account you want to activate simplefollow for, open CharacterSettings.xml

locate <EnabledPlugins> and add '<Value>SimpleFollow</Value>'


example mine is:

<EnabledPlugins>
<Value>Armory</Value>
<Value>QuestTools</Value>
<Value>SimpleFollow</Value>
<Value>Trinity</Value>
<Value>YAR Comms</Value>
</EnabledPlugins>

I can get a 3 box setup with Innerspace/YAR to run for maybe a rift.. but then the leader will start to error out and just stand in the middle of a rift/map

I would also like to know how people do this, I want to play the first character and the others follow.

Yea I have no idea, I got the leader with all the boxes checked, and now the follower has everything but YAR Comms on. I am guessing thats normal, so the follower doesn't do anything?

I only have SimpleFollow, Trinity and YARComms on my follower, am I supposed to turn YARComms off for follower? (i have no clue either xD)
 
One of the major things holding simplefollow back from being amazing is the fact that the leader starts the game before followers get into group. If you are playing Torment and HC like I am, having a bot that is designed for group play in both gear and spec step into a game solo is bad news. The group needs to join and leave the game together. This is also problematic in that the rift profiles as well as bounty profiles are in many different xml's and adding the stay in party tag is hugely cumbersome. This needs to be an option in simplefollow or DB, not in profiles.

Rrrix, you do great work and I appreciate all that you do. Thank you. I have a 12 pack of beer waiting for you if you can get simplefollow to a place where I can afk bot my 4 accounts without worry.

yes, exactly same here. Newest DB + trinity + simple follow + kevein's ghom profile. (3 clients)
This freeze or crash problem never happend before while I used DB 3xx~402. However it happens every 2-30 min since I've been using db 405&406 + newest everything.
If I press stop button on DB, D3 clients work again randomly.
Now I'm back to DB 388 + very old simple follow which works much better with no freeze.
Need solution :(

Another issue I noticed is that the followers keep attacking Trash mobs on chest runs, even though I set that value to False in the Profile.
 
Another issue I have noticed is that the Followers are really, really far behind even when reducing the run speed of the Leader. They seem in no way, synchronized.
 
I probably spent 2 hours tonight trying to get my 3 bots to run together, but I would get about 20-30min into runs which were very slow and something would eventually go wrong.

Not sure what else I can do, I followed everything to the 'T' and also tried some of the tricks mentioned in these 120 pages of this thread.

If anyone could help, would be greatly appreciated.
 
Db .40x beta + trinity 1.9.1 + questtools 2 + latest follow

Team is still running smooth in rifts and bounties. Some performance issues with tps drops sometime but this isn't a problem.

Latest version working like a charm :)
 
What are your SimpleFollow settings in the UI? You know, when you click on Plugins -> SimpleFollow -> Config. What are the values selected in each UI window for Followers and the Leader?
 
Nothing special. On leader I check stay in party , invite friend 1 , debug log, IP localhost. Cause running on the same machine

On follower stay in party, debug log , localhost as IP
 
Also another silly question, where did you find the download link to the DB Beta file? I couldn't seem to locate it.
 
So you are using an old version of DB to get simple follow to work?
 
so I downloaded the latest DB Beta and didnt change any settings, and it KINDA works. Its still very buggy.

The problem I am having now is the Leader bot gets to far away from the follower bots, and they get to far behind.

One of the major problems I see causing the Followers to lag behind is that they stop to destroy everything, fight every mob. How do I turn that off?

disable this in trinity settings on ur followers
