Welcome to my first release,

I start playing diablo again lately and wanted to make a Staff of Herding for each of my heroes. By using exemple I found everywhere on this forum
I build my own set of profiles that will loot some of those ingredients.

Black Mashroom:
90% AFKable... Will not get stuck but you may miss some mushroom overtime but they spawn a lots.

Leoric Skinbone:
99% AFKable... I some case he will not find is way to the fireplace and leave.

Liquid Rainbow:
80% AFKable... if you find issue please report it to me.

Gibbering Gemstone:
99% AFKable

Make sure you add Item rules inside demonbuddy WeightBasedRules.xml or the one you used by default.
Add this to you Pickup category and Keep also.

How to report a bug
When you are facing an issue with a specific profiles can you provide me those information:
  • The game mode you are using? (Ex. Quest or Adventure)
  • Which profiles you are using? (Ex. Liquid Rainbow or Gibbering Gemstone, ...)
  • What is happening? (Ex. Got stock in level 2 )
  • What was expecting? (Ex. After entering level 2 it should explore the dungeon.)

After 1 week running with my script perfecting is setting. Gibbering Gemstone is damn hard.
Only found 2 so far in a week.

** Latest Update 2014-04-27 **
Added a set of profiles to be used in adventure mode to search for all the Crafting item in one run.
Start using the profile "Start_StaffofHerding_Adventure.xml" and the bot will randomly load a profiles
and start looking for piece of the staff.
  • Always search Cathedral level 1 for a mushroom.
  • Always walk is way threw hall of agony level 1 to reach Leoric's manor
  • If bounty Mystic Cave available search the Liquid Rainbow.
  • Will leave if icefall cave bounty Active or Cave is found.
  • Will always walk is way to kill Izual for the tome "Plan: Staff of Herding".

** Latest Update 2014-04-30 **
I updated 2 Profiles in Adventure mode. Liquid Rainbow and Gibbering Gemstone.
The Liquid Rainbow profile will always look for the 2 cave. If he found a special vendor on is way. He will
talk to him and wait 15 seconds, then walk is way to Mystic Cave.

The Gibbering Gemstone is an attempt to fix the bug within the Field of Slaughter when looking for the right Cave.
Not sure if there still chance for something wrong to happen.

** Latest Update 2014-05-07 **
I upload the latest version of the adventure mode. Added a solo mode for all the profiles in adventure mode.
But mostly I think I did improve considerably the Liquid Rainbow profiles. He move more humanly inside Dahlgur Oasis.
I still need to find a Special Vendor to confirm everything fine with the looting of the cave.

** Latest Update 2014-05-24 **
New version of the adventure profiles are available. Not much have been change. I did try my best to make if more reliable when doing
Gibbering Gemstone run and Liquid Rainbow run. I tested for the past 48 hours that news version on 2 accounts and they where running for the past 12 hours without any major issue. I recommend enabling Gold Inactivity and set it up to 300 so this way the game will reset if the bot get stuck somewhere.

** Latest Update 2015-07-12 **
Release 2 Custom Adventure remake profiles. I use the same structure that Deathshiver post and made is version, the official one. Now the Black Mushroom run will check for each location then leave. It's not perfect but at least it will not run endlessly. Concerning the Liquid Rainbow If he found the cave I hope it will grab the liquid because I did not have the chance to find one yet...
Ehhh!!! It Work .. finally one of my 2 bot just past the portal and there it his a beautiful chest and he grab the liquid.

** Latest Update 2015-08-01 **
This is to release the best working version I have try so far. I manage to find countless Liquids rainbow and 3 Gibbering Gemstones.
The other piece I throw them on the floor as I have too many but those profile are working Great. I use the latest DB Beta version.

Unzip the latest Zip files into your Profiles folder and load any profiles at the root level to do single run or Start to do the full Routine.
If you have enough and want to skip some piece edit the Start Profiles and comment the line you want to skip.

Tried blackmushroom but the backtracking bot does is silly, so much.
Bot also behaves oddly, like its lost or something, goes around clicking stuff, stands around waiting etc, very bottish behaviour.
In its current state i strongly advise against using blackmushroom profile, you need to work on it.

I think profile is attempting to click everything within a size or something, cause it goes from chain to chain, instead of just trinity explore dungeon and exit game on done or similar would be better i think :)

Edit. Im pretty sure you cant find Chiltara in icefall caves, so probably just blacklist it or set objective to find Caverns of Frost instead :)

Edit2. After looking at yours and rrix, its clear you've done a copy paste and guessing game, go back to the drawing board. At least get the objectives right, rrix did it right(but its broken), you enabled icefall and thus it gets lost.

A+ for effort tho :p

Hey thanks for the profile.
Is there a way to stop the bot clearing icefall cave when searching for the gibbering gemstone.
I mean the item drops from the caverns of frost. seems wildly inefficient.

Thank you for you comment! I look further and found out better way to make my way to the Cathedral level 1 and to deal with Chiltara. I will be uploading news files shortly for those profiles. I found cool stuff looking at Adventure mode Profiles. This is just really hard at the moment to understand the behavior of all the XmlTags that are support by DB and/Or Trinity.

He will also support adventure mode but I found out that in adventure mode there always a unique monster inside the level 2 but the chance to be chiltara are really low but you get the chance to drop good unique crafting item and book and you can search for all the staff piece within the same game.

And how or where do u add this ? Sorry i'm kind a new to this things. would be nice if u could post a copy of the files which i could copy n replace the current file

Hello qme988

At the moment the Gibbering Gemstone is the most stable version I have and this is the one I posted in the main thread. You need to have have the last quest of act 3 "Kill asmodan" in other to allow the profiles to create the game. Otherwise edit the Profiles to match your current QuestId.

This is working perfectly in quest mode and yes now it does leave when Icefall Cave is found.

hi matamort,

I tried to run the gibbering gemstone it sometimes don't enter the icefall cave and tele/ disconnect and just running around the map all over the way point.
 
OR it dont pick up the gemstone OR my bot didnt found it yet
did 2 days of running without any results

anyone?

Make sure you setup your Item Rules properly. I don't think those item are Legendary item so Trinity or DB will not try to grab them unless you explicitly add the right rules to your Item Rules files.

I spent 2 week already running that profiles on my wizard. My bot manage to found 5 Gemstones. The Profiles is running fine but the Gemstone is painful to find. Really!!!

If you are lucky you can find 3 in a row or spent days without finding one.
See how many I found so far since I start this thread.

i have tested your profile and for the past 1 hour my char was going around and around and around in Fields of slaughter, he killed all the mobs there and he just going around, was the profile made to auto load once it is finished or you have to load every single profile manually ?

Otherwise great job for putting this together, keep up the good work !

Edit: I was watching the bot it found the merchant that open the the door for Mysterious Cave and instead of talking to him the bot telescoped bk to town and started another profile. I stop it and enter the cave myself, and found the liquid rainbow.

Hello Onixis

Yeah I was having the same issue sometime and I was not able to find out what was wrong with the gibbering gemstone profiles. For me it only happen when those criteria where met.
1. No bounties.
2. The cave is at the last location.
3. The cave is Icefall cave.

Reason for this issue to happen:
When he found the cave location there still too many monster around. So trinity kick in and start killing mob.
After killing all mobs, our champion happen to walk to far away from the blue portal and the useObject does not work.
The while condition cause the bot to stay in that area for ever because there nothing else to do after.

Quick fix: set gold inactivity inside your trinity config. I use 300 for 5 minutes.

Concerning the Liquid Rainbow adventure profiles. I didn't test it enough to troubleshoot trivial bugs. I release it anyway because he will do something
only if the bounty appear and this is rare. Also the profiles mechanic was all change when I realize that we where not provide a waypoint to Path to the oasis
in adventure mode.

And I also have problem handling the dialogue with that special Npc. He take time before he walk and open the Portal and the profile does not handle it well yet.
 
So far first time running each profile in the adventure pack.
Black mushroom: took awhile but worked just fine
Gemstone worked just fine
Leoric's Shinbone worked fine no issues [lol @ if it doesn't find logs in fireplace - ==== Raging at Leoric Manoir Courtyard. ====]
TESTING RAINBOW NOW - so far RNG is not on my side on spawning him. The script itself however could use some fine tuning to speed it up. Every now and then it seems to want to explore the Oasis instead of heading directly SOUTH to where the merchant will be.

Ok I had to stop the bot. The liquid rainbow is not usable at all, it farms it completely wrong and ineffectual.

Start new game, talk to kulle quick, teleport to oasis, run south to area, if not there town teleport then reset game.

Right now its running god knows where and getting stuck in random areas on the map where it thinks there's a coord when there's nothing there. Its also not starting a new game correctly.

I agree for this one. The adventure mode of the Liquid Rainbow is a pain in the ass. You can easily comment or erase that line from the routine
and you should have no issue farming all other part.

I will see if I can publish a better version in the coming hours.

just 1 question, the missing 1% from being 100% AFKable is that the bot auto stop and gives this in the log :

"Stopping the bot.
Session lasted for: 00:04:14.3827909
Chose Trinity as your combat routine
Bot Thread Ended. Was this requested?"

or it is a bug I have, just to Be Honest this is the best profile worked so far from the start till it enters the 2nd level of the Cave... and then it stops the bot... if there's anything I'm doing wrong please explain to me, everything updated to the latest..

and If you can post trinity settings or anything that might be useful in your opinion please don't hesitate...

as along as I'm near bot it works fine for me I do Level 2 manually but I hope I can depend on it and leave home on the weekend xD

Exact same thing happens to me, enters level two then stops.
