Error 42002?

This error has only happened to me when i run T6 Chest profile. Has not happened to me 1 time while running ZK profile. I would assume it's a Throttle on logins. Who knows for sure though.

How are you creating the breaks? I cant seem to get YAR randomization to work...

I've been doing them manually for now - I will be working on a more afk-able solution that hopefully isn't a simple mouse macro :x
 
Ok.. so, I had this problem but then I went onto my bot settings and changed the game wait time from my regular 3 - 5 seconds to 5 - 15 seconds.. I havent had the problem ever since. Try my fix and report back your results.

So here we go.

Last night I decided to test the 42002 error a bit closer - most of us were hoping it was a throttle

Here was my results:

I logged into a legit account (one that has only been played by hand) - set up a macro while sleeping
The macro did Resume Game -> wait 15 secs -> leave game -> wait 10 secs -> resume game.
I ran this macro for 10 hours - the GPH should have been right around 100-130. after 10 hours no error 42002.

At that point made a brand new VM (Virtual Machine) -> switched my *** server (not the usual one I've been using) -> loaded up d3 + dbuddy -> logged into account that I've been using for botting
Ran ghom profile for a little over an hour at around 48-49 gph - boom error 42002.

So at this point these are my theories:

The error is related to some kind of account flag
The error is a throttle that takes into account what content your running

Next thing I am going to test is taking random 3-5 minute breaks every 30-45 minutes - I'll let you guys know what I find

Thanks for your input. ive been getting at most, 40 gph, lowest was 30. My settings were 15-35


Paused my bot for about 5 mins or so, and ran it on my own, restarted it and set it to make a new game with 1-2 seconds. getting 103 gph. lets see how long this goes. Could just need a 5m break every so often, to vastly improve gph

Still running strong with 3-5 minute breaks randomly every hour

This is working, but i have to do it manually. I sent you a PM.



Done some searching, running a test with 4m break every 45 mins making games .5 - 1 second. Lets see if i can get the error. Yep, got the error. Switching to 10-15 seconds per game

NVM. problem happens again after 16 hours

here is what i did: check all you quests from you champain mode make sure you have cleared all the quests. i found out yesterday i have act2 the last quest not completed so i cleared it,
completes all the quests on all the characters or delete the low lvl character.

You took a 12 hours break, it's not tied to character. It's tied to account.

what break you talk about?
i went to work for 12 hours while i leave my bot runing ghom and i come back with no error at all.

i had error most of daytime yesterday

but then bot worked fine overnight

and now i'm getting error again

idk what's going on...

The only way you'll know if you got the error is if your bot literally breaks when you get it. We all know that waiting solves this temporarily, but it will come back. You can't even join games if you get this error, and the person in game gets a completely different error as well. It is tied to the account level, what quests you have completed will have no bearing on this. The best solution is to take breaks, until Blizzard fixes this issue, if they fix this issue.

Its definitely some kind of games / hour-day-week-month throttle - I am no longer convinced its a "flagged" account but rather a more complicated throttle then the typical "don't exceed X amount of games/hour"
it takes into account more factors, I just have not figured exactly what those factors are yet.
 
a way to have 3-4 minute breaks every hour without doing them manually would be great.
