Prerequisites
Download and install:
NOTE: This is VERY important! Can't stress this enough.
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Offline Installer) (REALLY important that you have the latest one!)
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable - 10.0.40219
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable - 10.0.40219
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x64 and x32 Redistributables 11.0.61030 (Installers have the same filenames as the 2010 redistributables. Careful not to overwrite them.)

READ THE SECOND POST on the first page please.. What you have there is a bug that the bot is detecting the wrong map.. caused by using an outdated .NET Framework version!

Here is a package I put together to make this profile work amazing. It includes the latest beta version of Demonbuddy (403) and the recommended versions of the plugins needed to make it work almost flawless.
Updated 1/5 15:03 CEST
Rift Bot Compilation v06.zip

1. Unpack the zip to a folder of your choice. (Don't overwrite older files, unpack to a new clean folder.)
2. Start Diablo and login to your account so you get to your character screen else you will get an error in Demonbuddy.
3. Start Demonbuddy.exe
4. Insert your key to login
5. Click on the "Plugins" tab and enable QuestTools, Trinity and RiftBot. (GearSwap is optional)
6. Exit Demonbuddy
7. Delete the "CompiledAssemblies" folder inside your Demonbuddy folder
8. Start Demonbuddy.exe
9. Click on the arrow next to the "Settings" button and enable "Open Loot containers" and "Open Chests". Loot Radius 100/Kill Radius 80. Repair Durability to 25% to make it work correctly.
10. Choose your preferred difficulty under "Game Difficulty".
11. Save and Close.
12. Click on the "Plugins" tab. Click on "Trinity" then click the "Config" button.

Combat/Misc:
Trigger range for Elite Combat = 100
Trigger range for Trash Combat = 20 (Set this to 45 if you're doing bounties)
Minimum Trash Mob Pack Size = 3 (Set this to 1 if you're doing bounties)
Trash Pack Cluster Radius = 20
Disable"Force Kill Summoners"
Set Treasure Goblins to Kamikaze (Decrease this option if the bot tries to walk through walls and over cliffs to get to him)
Enable "Attempt to avoid AOE" and "Kite to Avoid Death on Low HP"
Disable "Path Around AOE" and "Avoid Savage Beast Charge"

Objects
Container Open Range = 45
Enable "Open Chests"

Advanced
"Enable Gold Inactivity" = 180

As for the rest of the settings in Trinity, set to your own preference. These settings help the bot do the rifts more smooth.

Important!
The profiles to use is inside the Profile folder. (DB folder)/Profiles/RiftBot [Don't use the profile files inside the data folder]
You have to keep the rift profile updated yourself. It will only be updated when I put out new packs and that's not often enough to always have the newest revision of the profile.

Everything is updated for best performance with this profile.

Compilation includes the following:
Demonbuddy Beta .403
Trinity .29
Quest Tools .53
RiftBot plugin 0.0.8
GearSwap 0.8 (Not needed for this profile, but nice to have) [Thanks to borderjs' for letting me use this in the compilation]

Changelog:
Code:
  [B]v0.3[/B]
- Updated to Demonbuddy Beta .403
- Updated to Trinity .29
- Fixed a couple of exception errors that would cause the bot to freeze sometimes when entering a new level. (Credits to [SIZE=5][B]Gorm[/B][/SIZE] for figuring it out)
- Blacklisted lots of weapon and armor racks into Trinity. Bot shouldn't open them anymore when having "open chests" enabled

  [B]v0.4[/B]
- Act 4 bounties should work again with Trinity .29 and is optimized for faster completion (Credits to DyingHymn and gotteshand)
- Removed Act 1-3 and 5 bounty profiles because they're not supported by us

  [B]v0.5[/B]
- Should be less stuck issues with this revision. Test it and let me know.

  [B]v0.6[/B]
- Fixed a issue in Trinity that could be causing performance problems.
- Updated with latest profile revision 145

I was missing a few of the files listed, so I went ahead and downloaded them and it works like a dream!!! Great information!!!

I'm having an issue with this profile where it will open a new rift immediately after closing the last one, AND THEN LEAVE THE GAME and start new one. So it's opening a rift and then not using it. Log file attached. Thanks for any input on this!

Cheers,
D

Never experienced that. Try downloading the compilation pack in post #2 and unpacking it to a clean new folder.

And make 100% sure you have all the prerequisites files installed as stated in post #2 as well.

Oh and update the profile to the latest revision 146.

All pre-req's were installed, but was using my own up-to-date copy of DB and it's plugins, also was using rift bot repo. I'll use the pre-made pack in a bit and get back to you!

how do we upgrade 0.6 to 0.7? Just copy and overwrite everything in 0.6 folder?

Fine work you guys are doing. v6 has been working phenomenally well for me.

Thanks.

Anyone getting the issue that some next level portals gets mistaken for a Town Stone?

Using companion pack stock (aside from minor settings tweaks) worked just fine. I'll be moving my config files over (for db and trinity) though and we'll see if anything changes. Cheers!

When you check the official notes on the DB download pages, why does it only mention the x86 versions of .net and not the x64 versions you guys mention?

Note: The beta now requires, "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012" and also make sure you got 2010 installed. you can download them here:
2012: Microsoft Download Center
2010: Microsoft Download Center

http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/151424-beta-demonbuddy-beta-builds.html

What is right?

I just download each one, and choose x64 if I'm running a 64 bit OS. It's really based on what you're using or want to use.

Also make sure you download and install the prerequisites for this profile too (links found on page 1):

Prerequisites
Download and install:
NOTE: This is VERY important! Can't stress this enough.
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Offline Installer) (REALLY important that you have the latest one!)
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable - 10.0.40219
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable - 10.0.40219
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x86 and x64 Redistributables 11.0.61030 (Installers have the same filenames as the 2010 redistributables. Careful not to overwrite them.)

Then also ensure you're fully updated on windows, using windows update, and everything should work great.

Stuck at location. Not sure why, or what it was trying to go for, as it was trying to run into the wall, which was the edge of the map.

See attached pic/log.
