Did they do something to Ghom or is this just RNG at it's best?

RNG, kick your games up more to atleast 40-45gph minimum. Drop to lower torment if needed, avoid picking up rares/blues whatever.

Hello. Does anyone have any idea why my DH keeps face tanking ghom? I've had no problems with this on my wiz or WD. Thanks.
 
After several hours (7) I found my bot leaving before entering Ghom's room. It seems the memory leak gets worse over time, and eventually gets to the point where it takes so long to "enter" ghoms room that it times out and restarts the profile.

I've seen Kevin mention a memory (ram) program - I guess I'll have to investigate this further. Anyone else experience this slowdown?

I have the similar problem. There's no problem running the bot for first several hours. So I would turn on the program, go to sleep or go for classes/lunch/whatever. If I come back after few hours, I see the bot keep leaving the room before entering Ghom. And there's a serious slowdown in the speed of the game. There's a lag before entering the Ghom room, and then the bot leaves the room.

But I think this happens for every other profiles too. Longer profiles like bounties or rifts(!!) cause problem even more frequently. I think the bot needs a reboot every once in a while. However, it's actually better to play on your own than doing so... And this is why I love shorter runs like Ghom or Chest runs :)
I've been doing Chest runs recently, because it seems not have any problem with running for 12+Hours. But...they give me so little gold and experience, so I prefer Ghom XD
 
Im using this profile to do Ghom, but my game crashes midfight vs him, sometimes it kills him and tries to port back and then game crashes. Whats up?
 
Not saying this profile is bad (best one imo, since the bot doesnt have many places to get stuck) but if you look at the profile code, its pretty inefficient for barbs and other melee classes (prob for range too but can not guarantee). Tweaked the code just a little bit and got 6 more games an hour on t6 (yeah, yeah, small difference, but over 10 hours thats an entire hours worth of games for me). The things i changed was 2 things: the inefficiency right when you engage ghom, and immediately after killing him. As a barb, most of the time you go behind ghom before starting to dps with this profile I changed this by moving the force move point to a location slightly to the front of ghom. The other change i made was removing the force move point after finishing grabbing the loot (if applicable). Since the Demonbuddy already grabs the loot in your vicinity, all you have to do is increase the range of the pickup radius of the demonbuddy to something like 80 (only need the default 50 but since that clause that was removed dealt with the off chance that the loot dropping far away, we compensate with the increased radii). This should also work for ranged classes as well, just need to make sure the radius is larger (100 maybe, i do not play ranged classes atm so can not say for certain how much you would need) The problem with this change is that neph globes make your bot move almost a screen away to obtain it, but since the bot already does this with the original profile, this is not much of a change.

One thing to note is that breakables should be turned off (i.e. turn destructable range to 1) in order for this tweak to be effective, but it should already be turned off for ghom runs anyways, so this is a moot point.


Also, for people who run earthquake&avalanche and have the problem of the bot using eq and avlch before you cast battle rage, all you need to do to fix this problem is to go in barb combat plugins/trinity/combat/abilities/barbariancombat.cs and change the order of the battle rage skill (and any buffs you want to use before casting them) and put it in above of the WOTB. This should change the cast order so battle rage is cast before any of the other abilities. This change got me 4 more games an hour.

Did they nerf it? I'm running 2 bots and both are at 0.20-0.60 LpH since the last 48H.

Used to be 1.8-2.2 last week.

As for the Ghom entering problem, if you have an Intel Core, turn off rapid startup/storage and update IAStorDataSVC driver. It helped alot for me and bot can last 10-12h without incident. Still need to restart after a while, memory is not infinite on a laptop lol.

I used to run t6 ghom runs at 57/hr without these tweaks (i.e. its on a SSD already), and with it i get 64/hr (combinination of the above 2 gets me 7 more games rather than the 10 you would expect). The face to face profile does not deal with the problem of your barb going behind ghom before dpsing, and only reduces the force move point after killing ghom from 2 to 1 which still isnt as efficient as moving only when a leg drops rather than moving to a specific location than checking for loot. (Unless im reading that wrong somehow)

As for the eq and avalanche, if it works similarly to things like ww and other channeling barb skills, buffs/debuffs to your dmg gets snapshotted from when it was casted, rather than being updated in realtime/every tick. If this was not the case, it would not explain how the kill spd increased (observed via gph and secs left on WOTB).

I am not disputing how good the profile is, just want to help others squeeze out that last bit of efficiency.

got new fresh bach of db/trinity and everything else... but now my dh goes up to ghoms face, how to change distance?

Can you tell me what exact lines I have to swap? I searched the document, but it's very big, and I dont know which lines I should move and where I should move them.
