I love this thread, awesome job.. i turned around my profits from gaining 15k/week to about 80k/week with a lesser risk.. :) all i needed was the start up money :D

You earned it buddy, I even hop around your profile pack for the past 4 months occasionally when i feel i've over run my personal profile. I haven't even made it a quarter of the way through one of the zones even!
 
Great guide!

I do something similar, and to the crafting part there is NO DOUBT, go TSM 2.0 (if you dont have something automated).
The cool thing is that you don't even need a bot to do this... I earned lots of gold legit doing this, and then i found gatherbuddy... damn what a jump in profit...

This. TSM 2.0 is amazing. combine it with gatherbuddy and a high pop server, im cranking out 300k or so per month with less than 15 minutes a day of actual play time.
 
So I have decided to give this a go. I think ive cut out the most risky part (farming). i got myself a farmer who is giving me both ore/herbs 10% off market. I just received his second shipment of ore and OMG I literally just spent 35k in ore alone. There is SOOO much of it. I initially agreed to 3 shipments a week of ore alone, so Im gonna ask if he can scale back to once a week of each ore/herbs. Now I just need my sales to catch up with my supply! sheesh. @unicornfart. Im patiently waiting on your enchanting part to be completed. As of right now I'm following your Jewelcrafting and Alchemy part. I have two alchemist, one potion one transmute. Im creating rings/necklaces with green gems sending them off to my enchanter to DE and creating scrolls. It seems to be more profitable than trying to sell the greens on the AH. I have another toon that I leveled that currently has no professions and another that I used to use as my farmer. So I potentially have 4 more Professions slots if I drop my farmers current professions.

I expanded into some gems and tested out the flask market. I haven't done much with cut gems as raw almost always sell more than cut on my server. And they sell quick enough that I don't find myself needing another outlet. The green gems don't quite sell as quickly, so I may level up Alchemy and start transmuting to blue gems.

Flasks...ah flasks. I'm still trying to find the sweet spot. Raw herbs sell MUCH quicker (less competition) but flasks sell for more. I'm dabbling a bit in the flask area just to shake things up....I sell around 10-20/day.

I bot three toons less than four hours per day each in Pandaria using randombuddy. I'm sure I could increase my profits even more, but I'd rather play it 'safe'. I have one other toon that farms a Cata zone four hours per day, which yields a nice bit of side income. I had one hitting up wotlk herbs/ores but an ah botter has popped up selling them as well. I just don't have time to keep up so I've moved away from them.

I rarely have any items sitting in my guild vault for more than a day, so there's no 'dead stock'. I plan on building up some stock for patch days when the bot is down for a bit.
 
Unicorn, how do you safely shuffle goods from one account to the next?

I'm just starting up, have 2 accounts, one by hand and one botted. Is there a safe way to transport goods between the two or should i restrict my shuffles to toons on the botted account?

I was wondering what enchanting scrolls you keep in stock? I made a test batch and a lot of them seem to be just sitting.
 
Thanks so much for the info, im finding on my server anyway that the gems just aren't selling other than the primals, I guess getting to the end of the expansion doesn't help. What I would like to know is I started another account with a 90 ret pally mining and herbing but dont know how to shuffle the mats.

Does anyone know the best way to send the mats to my main account which has the professions to craft wihtout the risk of the main being banned? I have my own guild bank but I read somewhere that If I dump all the mats in there then use them on my main the main can be banned. So I was wondering how people do it?

Even though I've looked up on shuffling and similar, knowing exactly which gems to sell, and how to not list like an idiot by spamming lots of the same stuff is good advice. Thank you for this well put guide!

Same thing for me. It's more profitable to sell raw mats here than anything made out of them. It's almost impossible and it's a cutthroat undercutting clusterf*ck for spare change, but at least raw mats can be sold.
I don't really understand how is it that people are selling end-game flasks mentioned in OP (Spring Blossoms, Warm Sun, Winter's Bite) CHEAPER as the cost of a single Golden Lotus, which is needed to craft them. It's literally waste of gold. The whole shuffling is completely useless here, outside of making things for alts. But them again it's cheaper and faster to buy things from AH straight away then to level crafting professions. And it's even more insane with gems.
Either there's too much competition already or just my server is so FUBAR.
