getting error when trying to loggin

there is no log for this
it just freeze theres a windows popup saying that demonbuddy has stoped working

but a fesh install did fix it for me so this topic can be closed

is it possible to overwrite my old DB folder with a new installation but keep all the settings?

This has been solved with .22 Trinity update. Make sure you're using the Trinity updater.

The message is the standard windows message about crashing programs. The reason was something like 2crl8s. Dunno exactly and PC is already shutdown.
Google search told me to de- and reactivate the .net 3.5 software in the windows programs settings.

OP has marked this thread as solved by doing a fresh install. The only way is a fresh install. You're both still having problems because you don't want to lose your settings. It is the only way.

got it. no fresh install required, just read the install instructions here and you will notice, that visual studio 2010 + 2012 was missing

working fine now!
