A profile for the common folk...help :(

It has been a very long time (since d2) that I have bottled a game. Recently I acquired demon buddy and was super amped. I had bigben profile working for a while but still had glitches with it (crashes and what not). Since uniques have been nerfed I went for a bountie bot. Followed all directions but the bot doesn't seem to complete all bounties for the cache. Sooooo then I went for three musketeers profile. Simple and straight forward enough. Ran gohm and my wiz just keeps getting stuck...

Scripting has changed a LOT since good ol d2 days. I just want a profile that will net me 1lph and can work for hours and hours on end with no problem. I realize this is an insane noob post and it makes me Ill.
 
kevin spaceys legendary road is ur best bet. Check act 1 profiles
 
No worries! :) I remember that.. Good ol' D2JSP baal runs.. Anyways, since the update is still fairly fresh there are still some bugs with DB/trinity/profiles, etc.. Most of the major issues have been handled but still have the slight problems from time to time.. You might want to try the rrrix all acts profile.

It will run a1-a5 then start a1 over again.

Botting is not plug and play if you want good and reliable profiles you will have to sink some times in researching the best solution, there is no secret ;)
This is not a noob post this is a common post from people who want everything now without looking and thinking a bit by themselves ;)

He was basically asking for a reliable profile to run for hours on end.. No matter how much looking around he does I dont see alot of profiles that say in the post "I'm most reliable - download me" :) It just depends what kind of runs he wants to do and if there is a reliable bot for it.
 
Right now there was a new patch that DB had to be patched up to and they had to double check the security of DB.


That being said, with ROS (next expansion) there's a lot of new stuff the devs are trying to catch up with. This leads to a lot of bugs for newer, and older stuff. This means, right now, we're going to have buggy profiles/plugins for another week or two.

Give it time, but in the mean-time Legendary Road (Profiles -> Act1 forum) is the best bet with latest DB-Beta and Trinity 1.8.17, with latest Armory if you're so inclined (i have a tutorial thread up in the "Plugins" forum on how to customize it for upgrading along the way).

I run Act 4 bounties profile. Act 1 is broken and stuck a lot, but Act 4 is 99% AFKable, you get lot of Unique monsters + elites + Horradrim Caches. Went to sleep woke up 7 hours after, bot stopped because stash was full with caches, got 8 legendaries from killing stuff and 3 more from caches. Seems pretty good + gives blood shards, decent XP and rift stones.

I suggest trying it out even on easier difficulties.
