[NERFED] BigBen - Manglemaw farm

The following change from the Patch Notes has been reverted:

In Campaign Mode, Manglemaw now only drops loot and gives XP before the player progresses to the Chancellor's Tomb quest*

But with the unique boss loot table nerfed, It doesn't really matter. :(

Guess the new change went in, Mangle is back to dropping items without doing the run to the other door, but is now only dropping one rare per run.
 
This is quite simple. When you go back up into his room from the checkpoint, instead of blasting away as usual, continue running backwards and turn the corner as if you are backtracking to the next area. Once your character starts talking about how they feel the crown is close, go kill Manglemaw....aaaand voila. Loot.

Do not destroy the door and spawn manglemaw though. Run IMMEDIATELY around the corner and get your characters speech. That is the loot trigger. If you spawn him before then, you will not get loot still.
 
yeah i farmed this only for one day before update in 6 hours 17 legs.. t6 tho.

They reverted this change. No need for this anymore.
Instead, they nerfed ALL champions/rares/elites to give a lot less legendary items.
They buffed Rifts to 100% more legendary drops.

No they didn't. They only changed Unique Monsters (like Magglemaw) to drop stuff like regular champions.

Unique Monsters now use the same loot table as Champions.*

You are correct. Champions and Unique's got nerfed. Rares stayed the same - atleast on paper.
 
does the POR require doing something special? mine does nothing
