Best/Easiest class for farming xp/legs?

My first experience in DiabloIII has been as a Crusader. However, it has become apparent that getting over 500k dps is VERY VERY hard as a crusader for some reason? Been botting/playing now for a solid week at lvl 70 in T1 and upgrades are so far and few between that almost nothing is dropping with more dps that doesn't threaten to bring my toughness WAAYY too far down for little dps gain.

Right now sitting at 451k dps with 9mill toughness, and 14k healing.

Friend of mine simply rerolled his Crusader to Sorcerer and easily tapped 762k with 5mill toughness without much issue.

Are Crusaders simply harder to farm with?


Lastly, and the point of this thread, what in your opinion is the easiest to gear/spec/build for quick farming and/or is just easier to get up into the higher torments more easily?

Monk?
Barb?
Sorcerer?
WitchDoctor?

I would recommend Monk (or Barbar) because of the 30% Damage Reduction, Mantra, Evasion + good Damage.
I personally think that DH and Sorc (and WD) are way too squishy...

Yea, DH, Sorc, and WD seem very squishy....but so do barbarians?

Nah Barbs are quite strong (with lots of survival passives like superstition).
You can also try to play him with a shield ;)

Barb is very strong but it takes long time to kill a elite. I was thinking to change to Crusader but after reading this post, I will keep him ;)
 
As far as pure farming speed goes, I'm pretty damn happy with my 1.5m damage DH... But that's just me.
 
Crusaders are incredibly good to farm - warning though do NORMAL bounties first, until you get enough gear. There is no reason to do t1 with that little damage. i'm running around with 1.1 mill damage and 12mill toughness, hence why I do t3, but for you with little gear it's just slower. SO what if you don't get the best gem it doesn't really matter if you do it so slow it's worse. Crusaders imo are the best atm due to their massive burst which is more than any other tankier class that instant clears packs, and i have it set to ignore all neutrals so it's just elites and bounties.

The REAL question here is how are you botting bounties? There aren't any reliable profiles up yet that will successfully bot bounties.

Additionally, I've been making roughly 120-180mil per hour with my Crusader in T1 doing Leg road, but i heard there are better profiles and classes for farming exp/legs?

Act 4 working fine for me, didn't try act 1 but hopefully it's just as good (doesn't have 2-3-5 yet asfarasiknow)
 
I've been a .net developer for about 11 years, I've been botting bounties since they were released lol. Anyway, to ignore all neutrals just go into trinity, it should be on combat -> misc and just increase minimum trash mob pack size. I set it to 15 just so that if there IS a pack that is right next to me it will just blow it up with condemn instantly, just for that lil extra legendary chance.

It is working. Might get stuck sometimes but that's what the gold activity meter is for.
