Theory: Areas only drop certain legendarys.

Alright, I've been botting act1 for two weeks now, and I've found probably a hundred legendarys. All of which were the same probably 10-15 legendarys. Ive seen the same 1-2 set items, same rings, same amulets, same 2handers, over and over. Either certain legendarys drop from certain areas, OR certain legendarys have higher drop rate than other ones.

I want to think this is true, but don't really have any solid evidence, been farming act 1 (both adv/campaign) a lot since DB was working for RoS and never get any lvl 70 sets, then I switch over to act 3 farming for the last 3 days (adv/campaign) I got like 4 lvl70 class set items. Maybe its RNG, maybe there is some truth to "loot tables" I tend to think there are probably loot tables based on the acts, but... there just isn't any evidence to prove it.
 
after this exp weekend is over I'm going to start running something in act 3. I really think there is some sort of loot table at play here. I've found twenty leg belts but not one witching hour yet.

I honestly think its just RNG, I switch profiles every couple of days. It took me almost 2+ weeks to get my first lv70 Class set item. I've probably gotten like 12 complete sets of blackthornes... However I think some legs just legitimately have lesser drop chance when the legendary / set item is rolling to determine which one its going to be. its blatantly obvious that there is a ton of generic Legs for each slot that suck shit, followed by situation Legs, followed by the really epic ones that will probably be best in slot. So probably something like this 1-60 (crap) 61-85 (situation / certain build legs) 86-95 (Best in slot Legs) 96-100 (Torment only Legs) I have gotten lvl 70 set legs from all acts. Over probably 200+ Legendary 1 hander's I've gotten 2 windfurys and no Shard of hate :(. My two cents.
 
I've had 3 thunderfury's dropping in act III... (within 2 days) i kinda had the same feeling as you.
 
funny you mention black thorns. that's the one I kept findin the most

I tend to believe the loot table exists.

have been farming with Barbarian in Legendary Road/Manglemaw profiles in Act1 since the ROS lunched, and have got many blackthrones and many of same rings. The shard of hate dropped from Mangemaw for sudden.

will try to farm in Act 3 for a chance for Thunderfury.

Can you tell me which profile you were using to get the Thunderfury?

I've noticed the same... I'm not sure we've completely figured out the loot table though.
 
After I started using 2 bots together using the follow-plugin, I have seen many more set items. Generally more legendaries all over too, which is no surprise.
I have gotten Vyr's set items and the Firebirds. Also got a Thunderfury and Fulminator yesterday. All from Legendary Road 0.9 profile.

I was also seeing the same items over and over before, but it went really random after the bots teamed up. Maybe that was just random too tho :)
 
I've gotten 6 Echoing Fury's from Act 1, and a few set items.
 
Its obviously tailored to each class too, on my crusader i get mostly +armor +resist stats on my items. Farming a crusader on legendary road i get 90% 2handers, 8% rings and 2% something else. This holds true for me for over 100 legendary. And its not because i need to upgrade those slots, my sword is 3200 dps with an emerald.
 
Totally agree, I've had 4 or 5 of the same legendaries drop doing core of azmo runs over the last few days. I did something different last night and got a whole new set of legendaries.

witching hour is gone bro, lvl 60 only item, hence never finding it
 
are you guys running Torment1-6 or Normal-Master? tend to find same stuffs from same runs, mostly same but sometimes different! running kevin spacey's leg run 0.9

Yes, I have been getting roughly the exact same legendaries on repeat for the last 1-2 weeks doing core runs. Lately I have been getting quite a bit of variety (since the hotfixes), so something must have changed.
