[Adventure] Caverns of Frost + Core of Arreat

Hey dudes!

I've wrote my first profile after farming Chiltara for straight 5 hours per day without any success.
Currently I've not encountered any issues for the last 10 hours on my wizzard. It has also very good LPH, GPH and EPH rates because of Adventure mode's mob density and quests.

You get a lot of legendary crafting mats, especially the Frozen Blood.


3. Requires

  • Lastest Version of Trinity
  • Lastest Version of DB
  • Unlock Adventure mod (Kill Malthael)
  • Start a game in adventure mod before launch this profile

4. Versions

  • meets Chiltara Farm.xml: only farming the cave
  • meets Chiltara + core: farming cave and clearing core of arreat every game

5. Problems

  • Can't figure out if there's a bounty for the other cave in Adventure mode, so he's looking for the cave every game.
  • Only tested with wizzard.

Finally someone made a profile for this. Easily the worst thing in the game is Chiltara.
 
very good profile for mats. I'm glad someone decided to make one.
I encountered a few problems though.
-ran back and fourth level 1 until it timed out and left
-Ran back and fourth core had to do a restart
-got stuck on ancient remains
-entered cave, tp and went straight to arreat.


using a monk on t1. I'm going to do a few runs and see how it goes.
Next few runs went ok but tp before azmidan and skips him

This profile seems to work ok. Kills chilltara which is great. But then clears core without ever going to kill azmodan. I am doing it on adventure mode.
 
It disconnects me if I join the icefall cave. Maybe needs longer timer to TP ?

First off - Great Profile I have been really annoyed of farming this mat - how many have u managed to find in what timeframe?

It is called

Bounty: The Cursed Glacier
"Enter the Icefall Caves"

The profile would be more efficient if it didnt waste time looking caverns when due to bounty it is for sure icefall game spawn

Your toughness is way too low

dps is not everything, especially not for bots
 
Is it possible to make it kill azmo? It just ports out right outside of heart of sin

Edit: I changed the profile so it kills azmo too. Credits obviously go to op and wilmire

Hi, can also help to add Ice Frost Caves when found? There seems to have an earlier profile by Gadetto which maybe could be reviewed?

Somehow he is looking for caves in Core of Arreat, have you restarted Demonbuddy or reload the profile there?

Yeah, I know.. but until yesterday demonbuddy had no option to read out the bounties in Adventure mode.

Standard frozen orb wizzard build but your toughness seem very low.

It disconnects me if I join the icefall cave. Maybe needs longer timer to TP ?

Everytime you enter Icefall cave?

This profile seems to work ok. Kills chilltara which is great. But then clears core without ever going to kill azmodan. I am doing it on adventure mode.

Because I didn't include Azmodan cause there are currently some problems with hidden walls and the fireballs so my wizzard dies sometimes.

No longer DC me when I enter cave, I just had one older version of DB ;)

Currently it's 50% chance for cave, 10% chance for mob, 10% chance to drop on T1.
So we have a 0.5% chance for the drop every game.

With binomial distribution we get the following results:

Chance for 1 or more frozen bloods in:

10 runs: 4.8%
50 runs: 22.2%
100 runs: 39.5%
500 runs: 91.8%

thats currently pretty stupid if you guess you can run 15-20 runs per hour?

ETA on this functionality in the script? using it atm now but will wait to go to bed if you can push one out (if its a quick change)

not trying to be a bitch just wondering how complicated of a change it is for ya
