I don't know if anyone else has looked into this (and how safe it maybe), but due to blizzards new 60$ 90s you can essentially buy wow + mop + 90 for $100 and then just get to farming shit. Saving time on leveling and yada yada that you'd otherwise lose botting hours to. This seems like a solid deal to me, but perhaps I'm overlooking something obvious. Any thoughts?
 
Complete waste of money. You can get to 90 within a week no problem, using Recruit a Friend.

Waste of $60 just to save 1 weeks game time.

With RAF and certain methods, you can get multiple 90s within a week.
 
The complete collection is 74.99 if you're opening a new account which is a good deal.

You can easily make $20 - 50 a day with a level 90 toon if you know what you are doing and are on a good server, so I think the instant 90 is a good deal.

exactly my point...
Yes you could just raf and level to 90 within a week, however thats 7days * 20 bucks (minimum) = $140 compared to the initial setup of 74.99 (almost double the price) and that's not even counting paying for wow and mop on the raf account (another 40 bucks)

tldr:
$180 manual
$74.99 initial setup to buy a lvl 90
 
Not so bad at the moment because pre-order on WOD gets you the 90 for about fifteen quid more than just buying mop after the battlechest.
Wouldn't put it right into GB2/BGbuddy though just to be safer.
 
1-85 in a day, from 85-90 in 2 days = 3 days 1-90..
 
Some may say its a big waste of money, but IMO, its great because not only do you got a instant 90 for 60$ but it also comes with 280 flying and an ilvl equivalent to timeless isle gear which is 489? I still have 90's in fresh greens and blues and cant begin to tell you that the grind on timeless isle has made me pull my teeth out. I for one think it's a great feature.
 
You forget something huge enough with the 90 boost:
If you have toon lvl 60+, you receive maxed professions by your choise:

And its fairly easy to raf a toon to lvl 60 in several hours, then learn the desired profession and voila, you have your shuffler/gatherbot with maxed JC/Ench or Herb/Mining in a minute!

why should you want to use it on herb and mining ?
in 12 hours you could create tons of gold and 600 both ?
 
I'd use the instant maxed profs on the harder profs to level like Enchant/JC.

Ok lets do the same math for 3 days
20*3 = $60
$60 + $40 (mop & wow) = $100
$100>$74.99

And that's on the low end, you can easily gain more than $20 a day botting at lvl 90.

Wow really? It's around 0.5-0.6$/k at ownedcore atm so you're making 40k+/gold per day, EASILY?

Why on earth would you buy MoP and spend 60 for a boosted 90 instead of 50 for WoD and a free 90? Seems kinda dumb to spend ten extra dollars for no reason.
 
I still like to play WOW and play by hand all the time. The boring stuff like collection I use the bot. I use em for dailies too. I am not making much because I'm leveling and having fun.

I dont think its worth it mainly because of the threat of ban. Leveling a toon over a couple of months is in my opinion safe, because it looks human like. Quests and Achievements and professions.
 
Well I think that buying Wod can be great for gold seller because for example u can boost instant 90 rogue and pickpocket so hard instantly.

If you got banned you can just appeal ,reduce it to 72h and then sell the account.

It's pure profit !
