Hi,

db makes my d3 get really sloppy.
I have limited the fps of d3 to 30. But as soon as I start db it drops to 16fps. When I pause db it goes up to 30 again.
i5 2600k, gtx570... using the d3prefs from the forum.
This is since the 2.0.3 patch, anybody else got this issue?

whats your background and foreground settings?

When I put background to 30 it anyways drops to 2-17fps

Just to make things a little bit clearer:
For testing purposes I got foreground fps to 200 and background fps to 100.
After that I open a new game Act1. I have constantly 200 fps. As soon as I hit start on db the frames drop to 17 and it feels really sloppy.

Disable Microsoft Security Essentials or other Virusscanners. Restart DB. Problem solved.

don't work for me - i havent MSE or defender or something similar with real-time-protection and still this laggy issues

I have the same issue with the latest DB. When it's off, and I manually control, game is seamless. As soon as I unpause DB, it gets extremely sloppy.

Edit : I go from 140 FPS down to 20

I disabled antivirus, increased max fps to 50, and it still drops to 3-4 ticks/s.

It is either the new demonbuddy or trinity because this problem wasn't there last build.

The tick rate only drops when the bot is moving. When it lags, Demonbuddy is using 100% cpu while Diablo is only using 30%.

same problem, extreme low fps drop when running DB, problem only started when DB updated itself 3 days ago. fps only seems to drop when its moving and not when standing still and engaged in combat

Well i had laggy issues, been like this for one or two days now. i know its not my machine as its very high spec. Have now turned off MSE and will let you know if this helped thanks!
