So It just occurred to me, including myself just how many people just stopped playing wow lol... The bots went down and there's probably that 2% of people in there trying to entertain themselves. What are your thoughts on this? I mean it's not that I can't play by hand, it's just I've realized it saves my batteries not having to SMAAAAAAAAAAAAASH! like the hulk everyday I'm raiding....

Cuz raiding the normal way is super hard?
 
I havent raided or played by hand since BC. I farm and or attempt to learn to play when the bot is down.

Thats not the point. Smashing buttons is the work for the peons (the Bot). I decide the movement and the cooldowns.

BTT: I?m lvling an alt. Will do my farm and prof. cd?s and perhaps a little reputation for the main.
 
Just seems like the one thing people would want to do themselves is the raiding.......or maybe my US Top 15 brain just cant compute such casualness.

You're not maxing your DPS, letting the other 24 (or 9) raiders down who are trying their hardest, and taking the must fun aspect out of the most fun part of the game.

I'm not trying to be a bitch, I just don't understand, why raid if you're gonna bot it.
 
You really think you?ll do better dps than a good routine with 60 checks per second? You will lose proccs in 4 hours, the routine won?t.
After 6+ years of raiding I just get lazy.

Besides. Have 4 buddies on the f-list. Three of them using a rotation bot aswell and they are topping the meters in their raid. ;)
 
Cool like I said, maybe my non-botted US Top 15 brain can't fully grasp the casualness of running a rotation bot.

There's things you have to do while Heroic Raiding that a bot simply can not do. Bots can't anticipate interrupts. I ran one on heroic Paragons to test it, a precisely customized tuanHA.....it just doesn't work for the tabbing and the dotting and really anything you need it to do in anything other than a tank and spank fight (which Soo has all but 3) my DPS was 25K+ less than when i do it by hand and the raid leader asked me what the hell I was doing.

Or perhaps were talking about two different things altogether? I'm talking about heroic raiding, not "LFR" or "flex" which are shitty glorified dungeons

There's also more to just topping meters. I Can Be Number 1 On Skada nearly Every Fight If I Wanted to.....it's not always about highest DPS but rather doing the job your role has to do.

I would advise you to use YourRaidingBuddy for that. It's more hand playing yes, but there is a great interrupt table in it.
If you use TuanHA for raiding (not advisable imo) be sure to turn on 'Stop Cast on Manual Cast' to do the interrupts yourself.

Yes this might be lame to some, but for me it takes away the fact that some classes *cough*hunter*cough* give you RSI if you have a fight like garrosh..

I realize tuanHA might not be the most ideal for raiding. But shit man it looked like a fucking bot was playing, and my R L called it out almost instantly. I always burst wayyy over a mil But I Barely scraped Over A Million With The bot. And whether you like raiding or not, how is there any sense of accomplishment if you run any kind of bot whilst raiding? Yayyyyyy I finally got normal Malkz down but all I did was run to puddles and move for his breath while a program did everything else yayyyyyy.

I'm just gonna stick by the fact that my brain does not compute.



Also, after 7 years of high tier raiding myself, I wouldn't dare think to use a rotation bot. Someone playing as long as that- as long as the Golden days of old Naxx- should know better.

It's np ;) I use it because I take meds that lower my reaction time a lot D; HB helped me getting a bit of the experience of higher end raiding even with my meds :) very thankful for that

OC we are talking about heroic raiding. Wiping at blackfuse atm. Good enough for a 3 days a week. As I said, the peons work is for the Bot. Interrupts I do on my own, targeting I do on my own, cd usage I do on my own. The basic rotation and use of the normal proccs (incl snapshotting) the bot does.

Besides. +- 25k dps is just normal and burst well. the bot plays always the same way, but burst dps is from 700k to 1,3 m singletarget. If you have no proccs, the dps is in the shitter. Simple.
And if you not have clear after a few ID?s you don?t wipe cause of lack of dps. You wipe cause of bad tactics and fails.

I just don?t want to smash buttons anymore.
