Botbases not loading

What I did:

1. Clean and delete my old HB
2. Download the latest release of HB and install from the .exe file as recommended
3. Let the launcher open my WoW with administrator rights
4. Select BG Buddy and Tuanha CC routine
5. Set AV and AB as BG's
6. Press start

The first thing that hit me was that I could only chose between BGBuddy and ArcheologyBuddy, but I still gave it a go. Nothing however happend. I attached the log and I can see that it keeps throwing me an exception, I do however have no idea what it means, but it clearly says it stops the bot: "[10:53:48.697 N] Stopping the bot!".

Hope you can help. I'm on Win8.1, not that it should matter.

Edit: I tried to start HB with Singular as the CC routine, nothing changed. It loads the CC and goes through the spells but ends up with the same exception being thrown as the attached log. I attached the log from using Singular too.

First log is with Tuanha, second log is with Singular.

Since you only have 2 botbases, I think I know whats wrong, without lokking into the logs.

tHere`s how to fix it:

Uninstall all .Net Framework
Unintsall all Visual C++

Use the windows uninstaller tool.

Reboot

Run the programm from here: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...installation-errors-try-demonbuddywizard.html (don`t worry, it takes a while and does not show any progress. Just wait 5 minutes and it should continue)

Launch windows update.

Reboot

Run HB Installer.

And everything should work fine.

Unfortunatly it is not working. I used a support tool to remove earlier versions of .NET, but 3+ you can only disable/enable and that did not help. I removed 4-5 versions of Visual C++ and installed them again with DemonBuddyWizard.

Windows Update installed 1 update to the newly installed C++ package from the DemonBuddyWizard. HB only loads ArcheologyBuddy and BGBuddy on startup.

It's exactly the same as previously uploaded log. I'll upload this one too, in case someone can find some differences after I tried to reinstall .NET and Visual C++.

How did you uninstall it? You can uninstall ALL versions of NET using the windows uninstall software. I don`t know how its called in english, but it should be something like System-utilities-> Programms -> Uninstall programms. Then you see a list of all the programs on your computer and you can unsintall them.

After that the tool in the link should download and install all the necessary programs. After that i recommend to use the installer version of HB (not the zip file) and it should work fine. I had exactly the same problem several times on differen computers and that fixed it all the time.

Also check to use a clean install of HB without any plugins or combat routines.

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

@Mr_Pibb: I already tried that as stated above. Also you can not remove .NET from the control panel. The only option you have is to turn Windows features on/off, which includes .NET 3.5 (including 2.0 and 3.0) and .NET Framework 4.5 Advanced Services. I did uninstall all the Visual C++, and DemonWizard installed 2010 and I manually installed 2012, since I saw it did not install correctly. I have a "dummy" version of the 2012 which is not located on my machine, so it can not be uninstalled. I did however manage to install the newest version of the C++ 2012 version myself, so it shows up under add/remove programs twice with the "dummy" version and the newest one. Perhaps it creates an issue in trying to use the wrong one? Anyway I don't think it's possible to get rid of it unless I do a system wipe.

@Tony: Those two .NET Framework 4 are not listed anywhere. I assume they are incorporated into the 4.5 version that Windows 8.1 has. Could it be an issue that it lists 2 versions of the 2012 x86 under add/remove programs? One being the newest that I installed myself, and the other one being a "dummy" version that I apperently can not get rid of?
