Thinking about starting to bot PoE What Do i need to know

I've looked over the forums and have seen alot of talk saying this is a ban heavy game.

but am looking to start another botting venture with D3 no longer really being viable.

Can anyone give me some basic Starting tips/ warnings on what I'm getting my self into?

i actually did just start a character so i could have a better understanding of the games economy/mechanics. That said i'm trying to start botting a game that i dont play ( so i have no interest in anything that drops ) and just sell it.

You need to play the game in order to bot it. You've gotta use Path of Exile Currency Exchange Rates for currency prices and use PoE Goods to sell your items. And you've gotta learn about the different classes/specs what items are good for them so you can keep thoes and sell them. The loot filter atm sucks balls. So you cant really use that.

Ergo: if you want to bot you have to spend some time with the game.

This site about currency exchange rates is not accurate. Just spend some times reading trade chat to see they are going at which rate.

But you realy have to spend some times in game as Kuskner said, to fully realize its botting potencial

First off thanks for the links i will try to use them while leveling to get a better understanding!

I'm leveling a necro Witch atm so we will see where that goes. What can you guys tell me about powerleveling, the ban rates and the overall challenges i would have while botting. I looked over the ban section and saw 5 reported bans over the month of January which dosen't seem to high.

But then also read a thread or two on instant account "Flagging" Which were then banned for botting. was this an issue that has been since fixed by the Buddy creators or still a large issue?

Ideally while i don't mind playing the game and learning it. I would rather bot to save time on menial tasks (Like leveling) after running through all the acts once.
