Farming gold (in general)

I was wondering how much gold you farm /hour (on average) and where do you find such scripts.
I'm used to botting runescape where people indicated: this script makes about 1m/hour or so.
I noticed that that's not the case on honorbuddy so i hope some of you could tell me how much you farm /hour!
What scripts could i use? (i dont want those risky-ultra earning scripts but just regular money farming scripts which tend to be more safe)

Mining tends to get you a lot of gold. It also tends to get a lot of bans.
Pick Pocketing is terrible, and is almost a 100% ban too

Just look around the forums, and try what you think is best. - There have already been 500 million threads like this, and I'm 100% sure, that people will come in here and flame you.
You could try lots of different things, it also depends on your server after all
 
decided to roll with herb/mining on my main account atm (i'm kinda poor/dont have multiple accounts)
Until i make some more money (trying to get like 20k+)
then planning on moving to the AH bot on a 2nd account and keep doing herb/mining on main account.
Once both run succesful i'll try to get another account up to get alchemy so i can make inscriptions.

Should be most pofitable thing to do, if i may believe what others posted on those forums. (been reading for 3 hours so far)

No. Just no. AH on main account, if anything, and mining/herbalism on an expendable account. Your mining/herbing account will be banned, it's just a matter of time.

I've read that AH gets you banned so easily?
Just not sure if u're being sarcastic or not.

Anything would do, as long as i can make 500g+/h

Ehh, you could do some grinding. As long as other people don't see you. Like some cloth farming, could work.
If you have a DK dungeon farming could work too.
 
I have been a long time viewer and this will be my 2nd post. But honestly, get auctioneer and scan the ah once a day at peak times for a week to get an average pricing for your realm. Make your profs Enchanting/Anything (Tailoring usually goes well) but just search in the auctioneers search for Disenchant-able items and set it at your minimum profit. There are guides to setting up auctioneer to work better for you. Honestly though if you do this right you can make Gold cap in a matter of months not even going at it full hearted.
 
if you post too many items up on the AH you will be flaged, i had a clean account banned for posting more than 20 items on the AH and ban was " gold selling"
 
Don't bot on an account that you aren't prepared to lose.
Don't even associate a bot with an account you aren't prepared to lose.

There aren't as many prices here like Runescape - I could put out a profile that makes 2k/hour on my realm and 300g on yours. Some methods that are more server-independent do say how much they average though. Ton of variables even then.

I recommend switching it up. Solo some dungeons for a bit, go fishing, mine/herb... maybe even throw in some bgs or lfr. Don't just go for the highest paying method you can find and run it for days. Not only will the account potentially last longer - you also won't flood the market for that one particular thing (which is also why shuffling is good imo).

Not 100% true....i list 200-500 auctions a day on my main.
 
Farm dungeons if you dont want to get banned. Make sure you differ (cata normals / WOTLK heroics) it now and then and dont bot 15 hours every day for a month.

As mentioned in this thread there's so many ways to bot and get gold, be creative and dont do what everybody else does (herb/mining).

Same here, I am always at 300+ sometimes at 600ish...

Yeah dude, when I started playing the AH with my main, which has never been botted, I had an alt for glyps only, and i remember offering at least 60 diffrent glyphs, with 2 auctions each, also i sold pots and flasks, I had over 100 auctions on any day of the week, and trust me, there are many people with these numbers.
