TuanHA Hunter - The Ultimate Experience

TuanHa,

Do you think you could add the modifier functionality from your advanced settings tab heroic leap section, to your trinket&burst section ? It would help me quite a bit as my swifty macro is Shift +1. Put this in hunter section as you don't have a warrior thread. Maybe you could add this to all the profiles anyway.

If anyone is wondering, there is a little issue (mm spec) for the opener if the focus is at 100 and the target has full life. Tuanha will take care of that tomorrow along with some other finetuning.

sorry if i put it up wrong im still new but i put my log in this one again but in the ending lines where it has a pet attack but the hunter is not moving not sure if u implemented the fix for that just trying to help
 
Do these updates even get tested before they get pushed?

Huge Bug with Survival PVE (Only thing i've tested)

It's not using Arcane Shot at all, testing on target dummy, everything seems fine except it never uses arcane shot. If all my other shots are on CD and im above 60 Focus, it just does nothing until my other shots come off CD

Talents:
AMOC
Dire Beast
Glaive Toss

EDIT: This is with the special edition.

Also another DPS loss with MM:

When engaging encounter the bot opens with 2x Steady Shots while @ focus cap, seems like a DPS loss to me, should be using Serpent and Chimera first.

Kill Shot usage is terrible and needs to be looked into, it rarely uses it on cooldown like it should be used.

A few small fixes
 
Confirmed: Killshot using is very bad. Tested last evening on BM in SoO Raid. Special Edition..hope for an update

Same problem about arcane shot and kill shot (BM and Survival). Didnt tested MM...
 
TuanHA, think you could possibly revert the updates to an earlier more steady version? We're right here at the end of Arena Season 14 and trying to push rating - my hunter is basically worthless right now sir :(

You can change to previous version by using TortoiseSVN > Switch and remember to hit Close when Auto Update pop up

But as my previous test yesterday, it working well all 3 spec and all 3 tester (all high rated pvp/pve player) say it better than previous version... We have a few fix and tweak and will fix it today.

If you have any issue, please let me know the detail... a comment like "this version is worthless..." can't help us all xD

hey tuanha, can u set the Arcane Shot/Multishot(AOE) @ high prio if Thrill of the hunt Talent is set and procced ?
Maybe over multiple choice in the menu ?
Dont know if this is possible.

It was not attacking on tyrel as well during raids in SoO

test it @ this moment, nope. have 90+ focus , only sometimes it use arcane

Edit: testet on Malkorok(LFR) full fight and 30 mio dmg on boss dummy, ovrall arcane dmg round about 5% off all dmg. should be nearly 10-13%. Close behind or in front of Chimera and Autoshot, in case of wich kind of movement u have to do.
 
Hello guys.I am one of the testers that tuanha mentioned.After i came to him with thrill of the hunt ideas for couple of days he got bored because of my spams :D and decided to code it.He worked really hard and we tried lots of different codes in arena/dummies/bg's etc.

Survival is great atm.Howeever you need to use Thrill of the hunt talent to get his maximum potantial (which u need to use normally)

Made 6x 100m tests and beat my simcraft results on all of them by 5-12k margin.(also made a flex to see on bosses ranked top 20 on all of the bosses without cheesing and bad group)

Tuanha will post one of my dummy tests soon (idk how to add pictures) All of those test was done with 567 ilvl + gloves buff . No cd's no buff nothing.Also i forgot to use pve pet and that is a dps loss to.Even that as i said i managed to beat simcraft results all the time.

Editing profiles and see how far it can push was my hobby @ pqr days.Managed to beat simcraft results couple of times with some luck back in the days with some pqr profiles but never managed to beat simcraft 6 times in a row like this CR so it might be the best pve cr atm.

So go survival and choose thrill of the hunt talent and enjoy the ownage. (i am playing with 80 tps hardlock enabled btw so you might get bit less dps depending on your setup and computer)

As MM. yes there is a problem which occurs %60 70 of the times.The overall damage for pvp increased a lot but most of the times when cr drops low focus (like 10) after chimera shot usage it doesn't use steady shot to gain focus or anything else waits for 45 focus then use chimera shot again.Logs are clean so atm tuanha doesn't have any idea what causing this so if u want to play as MM in pvp just revert the SVN and go for the old one for now.

So for SV raiding and pvp choose thrill of the hunt for now because there is a problem that it doesn't use enough arcane shots with other talents(not a problem since u have to use thrill of the hunt %90 of the times)

If you want to go pvp as MM revert the svn back and play with the older one that was succesfull enough to push till tuanha understands what is the problem.

If you have any other problem besides these check your side because there isn't any problem except those on both specs.Check your setup,clean setup bla bla.

May I ask you what Arcane shot focus cap were you using during those fights?
Standard 60 or lower?
 
Whats the general thoughts on using burst mode? Are you setting burst to go off when you activate and ability and manually starting burst mode by macro'ing that ability?

The profile ONLY USES ARCANE SHOT IF THRILL OF THE HUNT IS PROC'd.

This is terrible for SV DPS.

I have thrill of the hunt selected and if im at 80+ Focus and all my shots are on cooldown and I dont have thrill of the hunt, the profile refuses to do anything.

ALSO, I shouldn't have to use thrill of the hunt, w/e this "dps increase" you told tuahna to do has left the rest of the talents useless because with them the profile dosn't use arcane shot at all.

SV is trash right now and because of it i've switched to BM which is actually working just fine.

Calm down. We already said there was a problem with not enough usage of arcane shots with other talents except thrill of the hunt and Tuanha is working for the last couple of hours for fixing it.A new rev is up SVN now and the problem fixed.You can use whatever talent u want now as survival.This update is general 20 25k dps increase from the revision 2 days ago.SVN update and enjoy.


and for the ''w/e this dps increase'' part was needed for mm pvp and we ended up broking sv pve rotation. and its all good now.
