Stupid question, I assume for raids you use raidbot, but what botbase do you use for arena? Or is there a good all around botbase to use for both arena and raiding?

**EDIT: Just purchased this, can't wait to try it out for LFR and Arena!

Like he say on front page
- PvE (LazyRaider / Tyrael / Raidbot)
- PvP (BGBuddy / BgBot / LazyRaider / Tyrael / Raidbot)
(BGBuddy /BgBot is with movment and Lazy/ Tyrael and Raidbot is self movment)
The most common used from most ppl is Tyrael for both PvE and PvP

Is there any way to make the routine queue spells that manually is pressed? Like for instance routine is casting but I need to get away quick (blink) so if I press keydown for my blink spell (which is z atm) it would queue that keypress next?

I had the same issue our last raid, it didnt cast and i had to do it manuel for like 10-15 sec before the routine took over.

Same problem like the 2x above. Working fine the other day but last night i were dpsing all by hand the first 10-30 sec before the rutine took in.

b3ta -> Do you have manual cast detection enabled?

Dkayhunter -> can you try disabling manual cast detection and see if it works then? Suspect the routine is seeing a key pressed and pausing. If disabling it fixes it, then I'll need to add some logging to see which key is being detected as held down.

Hey - No, but manual cast detection is for that, you press a spell and it pauses the routine for x milliseconds, so it allows you to get your cast off.

Anyone gotten this routine to work fine with fire rotation? My dps is crap as fire, but nice with frost. Ilvl 568 mage.

What do you define as crap as fire? Need more details

Fire works really good. Only problem with the rotation for PVE is that it use Pyro instant, insted of quing it up so you have both Heating up and Pyro! proc.
(will work way better when using 4x set)

That's what I'm suspecting is the culprit at the moment. Can you try disabling it to see if that stops the pausing? If it does, then I'll add some debugging in to find out what the routine thinks is being pressed (to enable the pause).

Yeah, sounds like you've set it up okay, or at least, you're on the right track. A guide would probably be a good idea for people coming over from PQR/PE (*hint hint at someone*).

Make sure you configure the settings etc (or as a minimum load a default settings file).

If you're having issues though, shout up and I'll help where I can (but I'm off to bed now so will be slow to reply!).

Well, I just don't want to have to keep changing talents for different fights. Especially in LFRs. Have you thought about making a setting where the mage won't try to cast Rune of Power while moving? My mage ends up peeing runes of power all over the place.

Or maybe a timer setting where the mage won't cast another rune of power after just having cast one within a certain window.

It won't cast a RoP if you're moving, but I like the idea of having a minimum delay between casts (5-10 seconds?). The only fear I have with this, is that if you start the cast and then move a tiny amount, before the spell lands (i.e. cancelling cast), then you won't have a RoP active, and it'll not re-cast it again for x seconds. 5 seconds is probably a reasonably safe number.

Would like to get thoughts and opinions on this before implementing it.

I'd suggest having a variable delay which we could change in settings, I'd rather have it how it is than a fixed delay tbh. Looking at it I can't really see any fight in SOO where I am "constantly" moving. Or a toggle on/off if you have a static value. I'd suggest 2/3 seconds is sufficient.To be honest casting outside of a rune is a big no no as arcane anyway. you will not want to have more than 2/3 casts MAX outside of the rune otherwise you will cripple your mana pool.

One thing, can you make it not cast inside Nuroshen's phased room? I spend more time casting runes than killing the little adds!

On a side note, arcane on protectors is crazy Any reason why the stone things dont get dotted in Spoils heroic btw?

Yeah, I use Rune of Power, and don't have that much trouble with it in SoO - but I'm conscious that as soon as I stop moving it'll cast, so I keep moving until I'm in a place where I'm happy to stand still.

Nuroshen's phased room is a good place to blacklist, but I'd need something to determine that we're in the phase - like an aura or something. Any idea if it gives you a buff/debuff?

PS, I do the same with rune, take ice floes and keep moving till you know it's safe to stop, usually that's enough time. As Arcane you should be making blinks from x to y where possible anyway.

Yeah I use Ice Floes now for PvE and PvP. It's a really good talent.

the two biggest places that over cast RoP are nuroshen as mentioned above and kite phase thok if you run it longer than 10 stacks or so(which most 25s do) other than that the majority of the fights are fairly easy to standstill most of the time. oh. unless we are talking about specific fight mechanics like belts on seige... if there was a way to make it never cast rop on belts that would be awesome too as mages sometimes get belt duty but that usually falls to shaman/hunter/rogue in my group so that one is not quite as big of a deal. the next biggest movement fight is immers but if you are smart enough you can get 6+ puddles stacked into the same rune so that one is not a big issue.


PS. my issue from earlier seems to have been fixed so dont worry about that one.
