[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

coming to think of it there are a few things that i would be extremely happy if they were implemented ( quality of life changes not actual needs of course)
basically on H shamans they use an ability Iron Prison - Spell - World of Warcraft where you want to use a cd 2-3 sec before the debuff wears off which lasts for 1 min (ice block or greater invis)
and on N and H spoils Set to Blow - Spell - World of Warcraft or Set to Blow - Spell - World of Warcraft you want to ice block or greater invis before the time wears off which lasts for 15 seconds. if it is possible to track your personal debuffs and make it greater invis if you are speced into it first and then iceblock if you get a second debuff that would be wonderful.

always the same.. if i type 0, default 40 or 99. Always refresh LB after one Cast.

rev 145 was working great, rev 146 & 147 not :(
 
I can't make an update on the SVN.

My password doesn't work anymore. Anyone have the same issue?
 
On heroic Immerseus, he casts "Swelling Corruption". If you attack the boss during this part you get a DoT on you that stacks. More than 3 stacks of this and you're pretty much dead. I don't know the name of the DoT unfortunately. Now, if you put a DoT on him before he casts swelling corruption, it doesnt give you a stack. Only when you damage him during that time. Is there a way that you can code the routine to not apply a DoT on him during that part and stop the routine from attacking once the DoT on you gets to 3?

I know it seems like it may be complicated but figured I would ask. It's the only Boss on heroic difficulty that I seem to have a problem with DoT's. Thanks for looking into it if you do :)

Hm, you could switch to the adds with 3 Stacks of the Debuff and won?t get a fourth, cause there are a lot of Adds. Very low chances to dot the Boss. I use AT after first Void and get the "first" Stacks of Debuff resetted, so I could deal longer on the Boss, generating more Adds. With 3 Stacks than switch to Adds and all is fine.
Second Round there are much less adds and after that round the boss is done.

DPS decreased ~15-20% with actual rev. :(

as arc for 25H immers, using Nether Tempest, thats kinda what i do. basically get 4 AB stacks(could be 1-6 stacks of debuff depending on rotation timing when debuff starts) then NT all adds and immers but in the mean time using all Missiles procs on the boss instead of the adds. the primary reason for the statement i made before is that with a full swap to adds situation most billisles procs will be wasted on the adds becuase they have low health and NT destroys them. so primary concern is that it keeps NT on boss and as many adds as possible and uses all missiles procs on boss for the least amount of wasted time/dps

I tend to avoid coding fight mechanics into the routine unless it's critical (like Thok, or Nazgrim). Might take a look at adding them, but don't want to make any promises.

Hmm that doesn't look like the latest revision because it's not printing out DoTManager info (i.e. that the DoT has been tracked).

Update to the latest revision, and set the power refresh value to something like 5 for testing, and any trinket proc should force the refresh.

Frozen Orb is broken for frost - will get it fixed today - that would cause a DPS loss - if you're frost spec. Arcane/Fire hasn't changed.

Thanks for the details, and discovering it's the non-English client that was at fault - made it much easier to fix.

[02/Feb/2014 - Update #2]
- DoTManager is now tracking the spell IDs rather than the name, to allow non-english clients to work.
- [Fire] Will no longer cast Invocation / Rune of Power / Incanter's Ward when Pyroblast! is active (as it can break the alter time combo while building ignite power).
 
You should let Living Bomb tick out before you re-apply it, its the last tick which explodes and its a damage increase to let it tick out instead of reapplying at the end.

You can clip the dot before the last tick, and the DoT will still 'explode' - thus giving overall better DoT uptime and higher DPS :)

- Lifeblood and Synapse Springs will now only cast when Cooldowns are enabled.
- When Burst is enabled, cooldowns are also enabled (if they are disabled).
- Will no longer cast mage bombs after Polymorph to prevent breaking the crowd control.
- Blacklisted unit Ghost Iron Dragonling in PvE and PvP.
- Fixed an issue where clicking the 'Change Password' button crashed Honorbuddy.
- Fixed casting on the following units when they are not our target:
Norushen - Manifestation of Corruption
Norushen - Essence of Corruption
Garrosh - Desecrated Weapon
Malkorok - Living Corruption
Sha of Pride - Manifestation of Pride
- Routine will now blacklist, and prevent casting against evading units.
 
MillzRoutineToggle for some reason honorbuddy is not talking to your addon (MillzRoutineToggle)for in game, im not sure if you discounted it but it really helped to remember what was enabled and disabled ;D

Hey - Yeah I disabled the code after the recent PQR/PE ban wave. Wasn't worth the risk, sorry.

I don't know if this is a good idea. I always liked putting a DoT on the weapon. Maybe I'm just not fully understanding what you mean with this.

The issue was that it wasn't always detecting the unit as being valid to cast on - so the change white lists the unit to say we CAN cast on it. It should help get those dots cast on the weapon earlier while still targeting Garrosh.

I am still confused as to when I would ever use burst though? I just turn cooldowns off if i want to save them and enable them when needed, what is the difference between doing this and using burst?

You can set certain abilities to cast on Burst specifically (like Frozen Orb for instance). It'll then only use the ability once Burst has been enabled.
