Is it Safe to bot now after the recent Banhammer?

I'm relatively new to botting.
Just the other day I was told that there was tons of accounts that were banned and that I should stop notting for a while.
I managed to be one of the lucky ones who survived!
I wanted to ask you guys if you think it is safe to bot again.
If so, are there any other safety precautions I need to take (I.e Don't use BGbuddy, Gatherbuddy and so on...)
If possible, could you also explain to me who it was that got banned. Like what bot where they using?

The banwave that occured on the 22nd was related to PQR and not Honorbuddy. You have been misinformed. Also GatherBuddy2 seems to be the botbase that gets the most people banned, use that information as you seem fit.

PQR is a rotation helper-bot, what likely triggered the mass-ban was PQR was growing popular to use in high rated PvP such as arenas and RBGs. Instant-interrupts and lightning-quick CC-counters raised unwanted attention.

The addon which was optional most likely did not help the cause.
 
I think it was most likely PQI (the optional interrupt addon for PQR) that caused peeps to be banned.
 
this actually made me laugh, not kidding. It's never safe to bot, but as long as you bot smart you should be "safe" even if you told blizzard you botted for an entire month straight I'm sure there isn't anything they could do about it if you play your cards right. There are many of us here who have already been banned but have overturned it, you should look up some of those stories that were posted. Very interesting stuff, but like they said it's PQR. Blizzard can't even detect HB, the HB developers are more concerned with HB hacks than Blizzard lol.

Answer: "No. It is never safe."
 
Just for some clarification, I know botting isn't safe. I meant, are we in the clear to bot after the ban-hammer.
 
If you have this many questions about is it safe or not. this is journey you must take alone. we can not answer this for you.
