questing and being ganked indefinitely...

Hey

So i'm trying to level up a character and I'm on a stupid realm where i'm totally outnumbered. Even running it at odd hours i still find some people that would just gank me over and over and over and over...

Now, i'm running the kicks questing profile pack and the bot is just retarded. Literally retarded.
I do my quests fine and then someone shows up that wants to rape my ass and the bot just doesn't even care, he goes about his business doing quest objectives while the guy rapes me without me even targeting him let alone fighting back.

I can't even intervene and try to defend myself because the bot goes and pull another mob for his stupid quest instead of dealing with the guy raping me.

So I just keep dying over and over and over to the point where i have 2 min resurrections and the guy is STILL ganking me.
I know i can beat him because if i stop the bot and press 2-3 buttons he's dead, but the bot wont under any circumstance defend itself.

Am i doing something wrong? Do i need a stupid plugin for the defend strategy? what's going on?

And before you tell me to just stop the bot and deal with it myself, it's a real pain to do so. I'm usually watching a movie or a stream with the game on my other monitor and I can't just stop everything and defend myself every 10-15 minutes, never mind that when i press stop bot HB just freezes and after i'm done and the guy is dead, HB is still frozen. I can't even close it with [X], i have to go to task manager and end task and then start a new instance.

Try a better Combat Routine and an Anti-Gank plugin. That will probably solve all your issues. I use TuanHA's profiles and whenever a ganker comes after my bot, they are usually defeated. If that isn't enough, most good routines will have a pause or control movement button combination. Using this will allow you to intervene with the bot and defeat gankers.

I can't promise anything with leveling though, most people don't gear their routines for leveling purposes.
 
I'm using singular, I don't know of any other routine that would work with questing because all other routines don't have movement support.

As for the anti-gank plugin can you give me a link or something? I've searched the forum and i found a 'gankoff' plugin that just stops the bot from rezzing if there are players around (which there always will be in my case)

I need something that will pause questing and go for the enemy attacking me, then resume questing.
How this is not implemented by default is just retarded.
 
I was just looking at this and decided to do a test. punching bots to see if they attack and 99% of them don't. I /wave and get nothing. not even a target real quick. I play on a insanely popular server group full of horde and i"m alli. I've been banned I think for those exact reasons. Until it's fixed I have no use for the bot. Also the bots leave there body instant. The BGbuddy release needs to be put in questing.
 
Even if i would switch realms i would still get players in my leveling area just because of 'connected realms'.
Even if i have faction ratio 20:1, i still get enemies from other realms appearing... its just stupid.

The questing bot needs to be re-worked with the defend mechanism and random release timer.

fine product, paid for it and no support gets provided, nobody in the staff even bothered answering.

being ganked has nothing to do with Honorbuddy, the plugins are also free and are not part of the Honorbuddy package apart from those few official ones.
 
You require assistance I'm sure, and you recieved some. However, I believe it is a profile issue. Also, I believe Kick's does not support PVP realms. Botting on a pvp realm runs the risk of getting ganked. Try a pvp/anti-gank plugin, they can be found in the pvp section. Support has always required a log, which you did not provide, and since its not a bot issue, they will not respond to this.

First of all, I'm not using any plugins except those that are already apart of HB.
Second of all I'm using Singular, the only routine that comes by default with HB.
Thirs, i'm using the Questing Bot that comes with HB by default.

If this doesn't even qualify for a response from the support team for the product I bought then what do i have to do to get their attention?

What good would a log do? So you can see my progress in questing? It shows no information on people attacking me... it just quests, over and over, and then i die and you see grabbing corpse type of messages. Whats the point of a log in this case?

I wonder if BGbuddy didnt attack enemies, would that be a bot issue? Guess it won't by your standards.
 
You can use another routine or code your own, there are better routines than Singular but there are no real guides to make one otherwise I would have made one by now along with many other guides that were never made.
 
So you're saying its a routine issue, the other guy before you said it was a profile issue... so which is it?

I could get another routine but does it need to have movement? because 99% of them don't.
That's why i just run with Singular and that's it (and it does the job fine except for the switching to the idiots attacking me all the time)
 
Again, it's not really related to Honorbuddy since it doesn't cover Ganking.. I think or this should be common sense.

You can always try TuanHa or look at the routine section, once again there hasn't been any real guides which is why you rarely see a routine.
 
As much as i am grateful you take your time to reply in my topic, you provide no useful information at all because you haven't answered any of my previous questions.

The profile has nothing to do with combat, this is handled by the routine

You can change the routine to one that has more support for PVP, Singular is more geared towards Questing. The movement question, you'd have to take the time to look around the Routine section on your Class, you'd also have to read the description to see if it supports movement and if it doesn't say you can always ask... for Questing it has to support movement to Quest.

It's handled by the Routine, although you can use things like Phelon's plugin which does Trinkets or Interrupts but isn't designed to be a Routine or intended to override it.


 
Wow, all of us paid for the same bot, but you literally have us spoon feed you all the way and still call us unhelpful. And not answering your questions, when you can't even use the search function.

Kudos, to ppl like AtomX, Giwin, Solo for their patience with u. Heck you are supposed to be the one thanking, not me.



There are profiles like Tuanha's that respond well to PVP, not Singular. And as above has mentioned, profiles have nothing to do with the PVP involved, PVP are handled by plugins and routines.

We can't spoonfeed you all the information as we don't have, and everyone's botting style is different. I have no problems with ganker using Tuanha's routine and questing, I rape them anytime of the day with my heirlooms.

Yes, you do.
This can be accomplished by either using the Honorbuddy-shipped Singular (or another Combat Routine that supports movement built-in). If your favorite Combat Routine does not support movement, then plugins like I Want Movement can be used to fill in the missing movement functionality.

Getting ganked can be caused by a lot of things?many times it is broken plugin causing the issue. Or mayhaps, you are in part of the quest profile that has temporarily turned off combat (because it is required to fulfill the quest objective). There are many many things that can lead to ganking troubles.

To have the problem analyzed, you need to open a new thread in the Support forum, describe the specific problem, and attach the full log that captured the issue.
