Hello supporters!

My profile wont skin. I've made sure to tick it in the Settings & Tools, and i have tried doing a custom behavior for it. Still nothing works.

i run the bot as Questing, because i want to farm 200 Medium leather. Attached log and profile.

Best regards

try a grinding profile instead and let me know

Can i still use the <GrindTo Condition="GetItemCount(2319) >= 160" /> without questing??

Testing now

Still nothing skins :(

Tried a lot of different stuff, <CustomBehavior NinjaSkin="True" SkinMobs="True" PullDistance="10" LootMobs="True" File="UserSettings"/> ticking the skin box under Settings and Tools, having both enabled, disabling both, enalbing the one over the other, whatnot. Still nothing

Tried redoing it and make it attack some other mobs in the same zone(Cape of Stranglethorn) still skins nothing :(

Edit: Tried re-installing Honorbuddy, still nothing.

Fresh log + profile here:

Testing
Bengan12, 150-225 Skinning questbot now. Ready to say how it goes in approx 7 mins time :)

Edit: You siad grinding
:cool: - The quest skinning did not work :(

PS: Please slap MaiN for me.

lol

i am trying to figure if its skinning function that fails or its profile related :)

I was chatting with MaiN last night and he helped me a tiny bit(read: a lot), and we got this profile to work. - and it still does.

No idea why nothing works now lol.

Hi, Snixs,

Your profile is simply malformed. This one should be properly-formed (although haven't tested it):

A few more things for the future:

cheers & much success with your project,

Yo CJ!

I have never really programmed, only done profiles for HonorBuddy since Alpha, but not recently, since i quit and it has became a bit more complex

Also, i tried changing your Hotspots with my own, changed the GrindTo condition to what i needed for my profile and also the faction ID. It still runs around, kill things but doesnt skin it.

Attached your profile with a few adjustments.

And also, i will post differently later, so i dont break Tonys mind with these profiles :D :D :D

Hi again, Snixs,

At this point, I don't believe its the profile that's the problem. Would you be so kind as to add this line below the <LootMobs Value="True" /> line?
<CustomBehavior File="Misc\ProfileCompatibilityInfo" AllowBrokenAddOns="True" AllowBrokenPlugIns="True" />

After adding that line, please let the profile run for a few minutes and show us the resulting log.

Here's a few more things to check (and yes, we know these are the "is it plugged in?"-type questions :D ):
  • I see you've changed light leather to medium leather.
Are you certain the toon has the skill to skin the mobs killed?
To tell, hover over the dead mob and tell us the color of the word "Skinnable" you see.

  • Are you using the "Questing" bot, and not the "Grinding" bot for this?

  • How many free bag slots to you have?
The profile has defined no mailboxes or vendors.
In this situation if your bags are full, then Honorbuddy will do what you describe.
cheers,
chinajade

    - Yup a 100%

Hi again, Snixs, and thanks for doing that.

You obviously have the required settings turned on:
[17:19:15.431 D] LootMobs: True
[17:19:15.431 D] SkinMobs: True
[17:19:15.431 D] NinjaSkin: True

And Honorbuddy is killing the mobs, and looting, but not skinning them.
[17:22:14.231 N] Moving to Type: Loot, Name: Ironjaw Basilisk
[17:22:14.968 D] InteractDebug:635914576
[17:22:14.971 D] Interact Done:635914576
[17:22:14.987 D] [Lua.Events] Attached to event LOOT_OPENED with handler
[17:22:15.919 N] Looting Ironjaw Basilisk Guid:0xF130060F001275FA
[17:22:15.919 V] Blacklisting F130060F001275FA for 00:15:00 [Type: Loot] - Reason : Looting done!
[17:22:15.919 V] Blacklisting F130060F001275FA for 00:00:02 [Type: Loot] - Reason: Done looting!

The last thing I know to try would be disable *all* your WoWclient addons (to take them out of the equation). Particularly, ElvUI is a beautiful UI, but it is *known* to interfere with Honorbuddy operation.
* Problematic game client addons were encountered--please disable these addons:
ElvUI,
ElvUI Config

I believe the problem is something in your particular setup. If it were Honorbuddy itself, then we'd be seeing a lot more reports about this, as there are thousands of people that skin on a daily basis.

If disabling the WoWclient addons doesn't repair the issue, then you will probably need to arrange with CodenameG or Tony to TeamView into your machine and have a look.

cheers,
chinajade

are you sure you have the required skinning skill to skin the mobs your trying to farm? i think they removed the need for the skinning knife, have you tried picking one up anyway to see if maybe we just forgot to remove the check for that item?
