I added some bots to my HTPC

Old i5 but able to squeeze out 6 bots on it. ~85% CPU use but it has pretty good cooling.

Got some cheap D3 keys over Black Friday so it was nice to finally expand a little bit. This means I now have 2 rooms in my house that are keeping warm due to botting (Other room has a couple i7's running 10 each). Should save a little $ on heating bill.

How much memory? I have an old quad core pc I tried to run some bots on, had 8gb ram and could barely run four bots because of the memory and was doing a lot of HD swapping. CPU was only like 45% though so the memory was definitely the limiting factor.

16 gb. it was convenient because it was my home server so it needed lots of RAM to begin with, so botting is natural for it. if i expand this i might look into putting a 3770k in because for this rig the limiting factor is CPU.

Profits and key prices were good for the last week going back down now but it was fun while it lasted.

Does any one know if its possible to party-play with bots, ie having for bots running and they are playing in the same party all the time?

drop rates in mp10 four player party are crazy high! justdid one run with some friends and it dropped 12 legendarys between us! in about 50min.

would be awsome to multibot in the same party

Yeah check the plugins subforum here, there is a plugin called partydude or something. i never got into it because from what i understand it does increase your CPU use, and im barely squeezing out my rigs as it is LOL. would definitely give you more loot though with the +30% boost.

windows is 1920x1080 (1080p TV). but YAR can make the D3 windows look smaller. i think they are still actually running at 800x600 though, just shrunk down.
